Friday's repair stopped at both 20-day averages, then a Saudi pipeline closure and a Hormuz ship strike opened the Fed week with Nasdaq futures 1.1% lower. Friday's US cash close was S&P 500 7,656.98 (+0.86%), Nasdaq-100 29,368.44 (+0.91%) and VIX 15.84 (−11.21%), with Brent settling $104.61 and the ten-year at 4.970% after touching 5.005%. At the Sunday Globex open (about 19:15 New York, 07:15 Singapore Monday) Nasdaq-100 futures were 29,346 (−1.14%), S&P futures 7,617.6 (−0.51%), the September VIX future 18.83 (+2.6%) and Brent 107.54 (+2.9%). Saudi Arabia shut its 7-million-barrel East-West pipeline — the Hormuz bypass — after a drone strike from Iraq, with the outage's duration undisclosed and roughly five to seven days of storage behind it; an Iranian container ship was hit in the strait early Sunday; Oman postponed the Iran–Gulf states meeting; and OpenAI ruled out a 2026 listing. Fed funds futures price a September hike at about 86%. Every chart reading in this issue is a fresh 11-September print; no breadth value is carried.

Sunday's decision box (29,334–29,475 with a headline gap expected) printed its gap at the Globex open with the future on the box floor. The chart set confirms Sunday's carried calls: the weekly close under the 20-week (29,279) did not happen (29,368) and is retired as a miss; the counts did not repair. Option 1e's last third is now booked as stopped at 29,450 (Friday traded 29,473 through the level: −20); Option 25 is booked as not filled. Thursday's 0.81 put-call day-print was revised to 0.60 — the rule that day-prints never arm a leg was right by 0.21.
Both gaps filled and both 50-day averages were recovered on a close. The Nasdaq-100 opened inside Thursday's 29,250–29,334 gap, filled it in the first hour, traded to 29,473.12 and closed 29,368.44 — 171 points over the 50-day at 29,197.55, which it had lost the session before. The S&P opened at its low, 7,636.75, already above Thursday's 7,613–7,624 gap, traded to 7,677.02 and closed 7,656.98, back over the June record at 7,640 and the 50-day at 7,607.34. On the daily chart this is a genuine repair, and the framework says so.
The repair stopped at two averages that now have names. The Nasdaq's high, 29,473, is the 60-minute 200-average (29,472.92) to the point; the close sat 38 under the 20-day (29,405.88) for a fourth consecutive session. The S&P's high, 7,677, is the 60-minute 100-average (7,677.59) to the point, eight under the 20-day (7,685.19). The Nasdaq's daily stochastic did not turn on a +0.91% day; the intraday ones closed stretched into a Globex open 1.1% lower.
Volatility reset on the spot and re-armed on the future. The VIX closed 15.84, under its daily band top (17.11) and under its 50-day (16.14) — the corridor withdrawn and the base re-tested in one session, which is where Option 3f's remaining half stopped at 16.10. Then, on Sunday night, the September future closed 18.83 against that stale spot: a 19% premium built entirely from the future's side.
The members did not repair with price. The Nasdaq-100 bullish-percent count rose 1.98 to 42.57 — two net buy signals for a 265-point index day — and stayed under 45 for a third session; the S&P count rose 0.80 to 43.20. NYSE advance-decline opened +1,731, printed +1,789 by mid-morning and closed +583, giving back two thirds; the Nasdaq-100 advance-decline percent opened +73 and closed +28.71, missing the first repair print (+30) by a single name.
New lows grew into the rally. The NYSE high-low index fell 3.51 to 28.96 — through 30, the framework's next escalation line, on a day the S&P rose 65 points. Both McClellan summations kept falling (NASI −239, NYSI −137), and the NYSE oscillator's bounce arm, opened Thursday at −63.58, closed Friday at −43.25 on the session it was expressed.
Credit sat out the rally. JNK closed the week at 94.61, its weekly low, two cents under Thursday, with the S&P up 0.86%. That is the second verified close under the framework's 95 gate. A rally the high-yield ETF does not join is one the framework does not fund.
Rates did not normalise and the front end led again. The ten-year opened and closed at 4.97% after trading 4.91–4.99% (5.005% on the wire) — a second close over the 4.90 spiral line and a refusal of 5.00. The two-year closed 4.63%, a new cycle high, on a day equities rallied: the front end priced the hike (86% by Sunday) while the S&P bought the print. The Fed receives a market that rallied on CPI with its ten-year on the 5% doorstep.
Oil cooled on paper and worsened in the physical system. Brent settled $104.61 on Friday, a 2.8% pullback and still the third consecutive settle over 101. Over the weekend Saudi Arabia shut its East-West pipeline — about 4 million barrels a day rerouted around Hormuz since March — after drones launched from Iraq damaged it; the kingdom has not said how long it will stay closed, and traders put its storage runway at five to seven days. An Iranian container ship was struck in the strait early Sunday, Oman postponed the Hormuz meeting, and Brent traded $107.54 at the Sunday open.
The put-call print that mattered was revised away. Thursday's 0.81 equity put-call day-print — four hundredths from the countertrend protocol's second leg — was revised to 0.60; Friday printed 0.58. The rule that day-prints never arm a leg kept every tactical short at full size through a print that did not exist; with the put-call under its 50-day average and managers 87% long, the tape is unhedged into a Fed decision.
Shock rises two to 50%. The oil leg went from a price to a route: a third settle over 101 and a shut bypass with a five-to-seven-day storage runway and no published repair schedule. The rate leg is over-met with 5% tagged and the two-year at a high; the credit leg is half-met with JNK on its weekly low; the vol leg is re-arming from the future's side. Three of four legs are met and the fourth is 0.61 (JNK) and 3.16 (VIX) away.
Rollover rises two to 30%. Its next tactical trigger — 29,334 lost on a 30-minute close — has the Nasdaq future sitting on the step and the CFD under it before the cash opens. The counts stayed under 45 on the rally, new lows expanded, and both 20-day averages held as lids to the point. It yields the modal slot to shock by twenty because the next step down is decided by a pipeline's repair time, a Fed's dots and a 5% close, not by a member count.
Range falls four to 16%. Its price half is intact — both 50-days recovered, both gaps filled and held — and its other halves are not: credit did not confirm, breadth missed its first repair print by 1.29, and the Fed half (a hold, or a hike with dovish dots) is priced at 14%. Range's route this week is a hike with "one and done" language and a reopened pipeline, two 15–20% events.
Bull stays at 4%. No structural gate cleared: no 20-day close, no breadth thrust, no oil normalisation, no reopening agreement. Still real for the bull case: the banks made a higher low with the two-year at a cycle high, and the Nasdaq's daily stochastic is mid-range, not overbought.
The lines that held. Sunday's issue said the repair holds while the Nasdaq-100 stays above 29,334 and that a headline gap was the base case for Monday. The gap printed at the Globex open and the future closed Sunday night at 29,346 — twelve points over the line. The 10-September call for a weekly close under the 20-week (29,279) is confirmed as a miss on the chart: 29,368.
Structures that paid. Option 3f, long volatility from about 15.45: half paid at 16.15 (+0.70) on Wednesday, half stopped at 16.10 (+0.65) on Friday. Closed. Option 1e, the structural short from about 29,470: a third covered at 29,389 (+81), a third at 29,237 (+233), and the last third — which Sunday's issue left unresolved — is now booked as stopped at 29,450, because Friday's high of 29,473 is a hard price level traded through, whatever the 30-minute close did. A loss the daily chart proves is claimed; the structure closes at +81 / +233 / −20.
Structures that did not fill. Option 25 (the pivot rung at 29,404–29,450) needed a rejection close after a touch; the zone was touched and the day closed under it, but the qualifying 30-minute sequence is not resolvable from the render. Not booked — a gain that may not exist is not claimed. The CPI bear breaks at 29,038 and 7,580 expired unfilled; the gap-fill fades retired unfilled; the gold bracket did not fire — the spot chart closed 4,348, twelve under the 4,360 trigger (Sunday's 4,371.49 was a wire print; the chart governs), and the $111 range activated the exclusion.
A carried read withdrawn. Sunday's issue carried Thursday's 0.81 put-call and the hedged-late fragility read built on it. The print was revised to 0.60. The read is withdrawn and replaced with unhedged. A data correction rather than a miss, but the description of the tape changed and it is owned here.

Win probability is the framework's estimate that the first target prints before the stop, conditional on the entry trigger firing, over a one-day-to-one-week horizon. It is calibrated to the scenario weights (shock 50% modal) and the structure's record in the 30-day window, not to any backtest; figures at or below 50% are lower-odds, higher-payoff structures and are marked in a muted pill. No structure is taken on the opening bar. The unconventional slot is Option 08: a gold short whose licence is the ten-year, not the dollar.

The base case is a gap-down open under 29,334 and 7,640, an opening bar that is not traded, and a first hour that tests the recovered 50-day averages (29,198 / 7,607) and the filled gaps' floors. The first qualifying 30-minute close after 10:00 that holds under the lines fills the failed-repair shorts; a bounce into the pivots (29,406–29,473 / 7,677–7,685) is sold on a rejection close. The 50-day averages decide the afternoon: a hold there is a 29,200–29,350 / 7,590–7,640 close, a loss opens the band floors (29,067 / 7,572) and the deep-break trigger (29,038) for Tuesday. Upside reweighting needs a Saudi repair statement and a reclaim of 29,334 on the first 30-minute close after 10:00, with two closes above 29,473 taking the lid; downside reweighting needs a pipeline outage measured in weeks or a 5% ten-year close, which opens the cash at the CFD's Sunday print (29,053) and puts the deep landing at 28,777–28,878 in play the same day.
The working ranges are Nasdaq 28,777–29,596 and S&P 7,521–7,715 through Wednesday's decision, dots and VIX expiry and Friday's quadruple witching. The Fed is priced to hike; the dots decide the tape. Hawkish dots with oil over 105 put the ten-year through 5% on a close, take 29,198 and trade the lower half of the range into expiry. A hike with "one and done" language sends the relief to 29,473–29,596, where it is sold with the counts under 45 — the 29,198–29,473 box holds. A ten-year close above 5%, JNK below 94, Brent above 109.05 or a VIX above 19 reweights toward shock-fast; a dovish decision with a reopened pipeline, Brent below 101 and JNK above 95 reweights toward range.
The central battleground remains Nasdaq 27,753–29,972 and the tape sits in its middle third with the repair stalled at the pivots. The September monthly RSI runs 69.30, still under August's 69.74 final and 8.58 under the 77.88 that would invalidate the three-peak thesis; a month down 0.3% at the 11th would need a 12% remainder to get there. The base case has the pipeline resolving on an engineering schedule inside two weeks, the counts printing a first repair above 45 late in the month, and the Nasdaq ranging 28,564–29,656. A rate close above 5%, Brent above 120 and JNK below 94 would make the 26,831–27,129 R3 band the active downside destination; sustained closes over 29,972 with the count above 60 twice and a signed Hormuz reopening date would force the opposite conclusion.
The central six-month map remains a 26,500–30,000 range with downward drift while the monthly divergence stands, and the lower bound is the operative one: a 5% ten-year with oil over 100 and a Saudi export system running on one corridor is a combination the equity market has not had to price since 2007. The base year-end path is a Q4 low near the R3 band, then recovery toward 28,500–29,500 if September's hike is the last and the strait and the pipeline reopen on dates; the bull tail needs the tanker war and the pipeline war to end, not pause, and the shock tail remains 24,500–26,000.

Carried values are not presented as Friday prints; there are none.
Friday repaired what the daily price chart could see — both gaps, both 50-day averages, the June record — and stopped, to the point, at the 60-minute 200-average on the Nasdaq and the 60-minute 100-average on the S&P, under both 20-day lids. What it did not repair is what the framework ranks above price: the counts stayed under 45, new lows grew into the rally, credit closed the week on its low, the front end made a new high, and the hedging print that would have halved the shorts turned out not to exist. Sunday night then shut the Saudi bypass and opened the Fed week with the Nasdaq future on the 29,334 line. Shock is modal at 50%. Let the opening gap pass; the first qualifying 30-minute close after 10:00 New York decides whether Friday's repair holds, and nothing is carried into Wednesday except the volatility long.
