Monday's 444-point Nasdaq-100 gap-down was bought at the August landing and sold at the lost 50-day as the ten-year printed 5.02% and Brent tagged $109. Monday's US cash close was S&P 500 7,619.98 (−0.48%), Nasdaq-100 29,127.16 (−0.82%, after −1.5% at the low) and VIX 17.10 (+7.95%, high 18.17), with Brent November settling $105.68 (+1.0%) and the ten-year at 4.99% after a 5.02% print — the first five-handle since 2023. At 06:37 Singapore (18:37 New York, post-close) the Nasdaq-100 CFD was 29,157 (+0.10%), the S&P CFD 7,625.7, the October VIX future 18.50 and Brent 106.48. The Saudi East-West pipeline stays shut with fire damage at a pumping station and no restart date ("very soon", per the US Energy Secretary); Iran claimed a tanker hit mines in Hormuz; the Amodei essay calling for a slowdown in frontier-AI development, endorsed by Altman and Musk, sold chips and bid software. Every chart reading here is a fresh 14-September print.

Sunday's line (29,334) and its gap clause did their job in the wrong place: the cash opened 444 under the line, and the first qualifying close filled the two failed-repair shorts at the low of the day and the vol long at the high. All three are open and underwater, and are booked that way below. Sunday's Monday map hit four of six (S&P close, VIX open, ten-year range, Brent direction) and missed both Nasdaq-100 legs on the open. The "target not a bid" call on the August landing was right about the framework and wrong about the market: the landing was bought on its first touch.
The Nasdaq-100 lost its 50-day and 100-day on a close, after buying the landing and selling the bounce. The cash opened at 28,890.93, 444 points under the 29,334 line Sunday's issue named, and printed 28,867.67 in the first half hour — filling the 25-August gap remnant, piercing the daily Bollinger floor (28,908) by 40, and reaching eight points into the 4-August remnant the framework had called the deep landing. It then rallied 417 points to 29,285.50, stopped at the 30-minute 50-average (29,283) to within three points, and faded to 29,127.16: 66 under the 50-day (29,193.51) Friday had recovered and 41 under the 100-day (29,168.40). The 20-day (29,360) was never approached. A new gap-down (#38, 29,285.50–29,313.51) sits overhead, stacked under the tanker-war gap (29,250–29,334) that Friday filled and Monday re-opened from below.
The bounce was a rotation, not a bid. Dario Amodei's Saturday essay asked frontier-AI companies to slow the development of their most capable models; Altman and Musk endorsed it Sunday. Chips sold (NVIDIA −3.3%) and the money moved into software and platforms (Salesforce +4.7%, IBM +2.4%, Alphabet +2.2%). Only 233 of 500 S&P names advanced. That is a four-name bounce, and the breadth prints say so.
The bullish-percent count made a new low and tagged the April analog at the open. BPNDX opened at 34.65 — under 35 for the first time on this leg, the April-low reading — and closed 37.62, down 4.95, a seventh consecutive close under 50 and a fourth under 45. Five Nasdaq-100 members lost buy signals on a day the index rallied 417 points off its low. The high-low index fell to 25.50 (new lows expanded for a sixth session), advance-decline closed −538 with a day's high of +69, and the Nasdaq summation went through −250 to −273. The 50-day count re-entered the July-flush zone at 38.61.
The ten-year printed a five-handle and the banks finally sold it. The 10-year yield opened 4.97%, traded 5.02% — the first print over five percent since 2023 — and closed 4.99%, refusing the round number for a second consecutive session. The two-year made a new cycle high at 4.68% into the decision. The bank index, which had made a higher low on Friday's 5.005% tag, made a lower low on Monday's 5.02% and closed 184.45 — its first close under 185, one leg of the two the rates-and-banks structure needs. The dollar closed 99.45, through the 99.2 gate that licensed a gold long; that long is retired.
The S&P held its 50-day by ten points. It opened 7,611.44, printed 7,592.28 — the 30-minute band floor to the point — and closed 7,619.98, ten over the 50-day (7,610.07) and twenty under the June record (7,640), which is also now the 5-day EMA and the 30-minute band mid. No cash gap printed: Monday's high (7,647.99) exceeded Friday's low. Sunday's note that a new S&P gap "will almost certainly" print is withdrawn as a miss.
Credit did not buy the dip. The high-yield ETF closed 94.49, down 0.12, a new closing low and a third verified close under 95 — on a day the Nasdaq-100 rallied 417 points off its low. The option-adjusted spread ticked in a basis point on Friday's data; the cash ETF is the faster read and it went the other way. The landing bid stays retired; 94 — the shock path's credit leg — is 0.49 away.
Oil printed the shock and unwound most of it. Brent nearly touched $110 in the first hours (chart high $109.44) on the pipeline shutdown and the mine claim, then settled $105.68, up 1% — a fourth settle over 101 and a rejection of the $109 week-high line by nearly four dollars. The physical read got worse: satellite images show fire damage at the East-West pumping station, Riyadh has published no repair timeline, and Hormuz traffic is in the low double digits. The price read got better: the Energy Secretary said "very soon" and promised a timeframe on Tuesday, and the White House said Russia and Ukraine agreed to stop striking each other's energy facilities. The framework prices the settle, and the settle is 4.7 from the 101 line that restores the single-gate read.
The rate gate held. Eleven closes over 4.70%, three over 4.90%, and two sessions in which 5.00% was printed and refused. Nothing in that sequence withdraws the spiral read. What Tuesday adds is timing: it is the last close before the dots, and a 5.00% close today is the shock path's rate leg fully met before the Fed speaks.
The vol base re-entered and the corridor did not re-open. The VIX opened 17.50 — where the future had been on Sunday night — tagged 18.17 (the same number as Thursday's high, on the doorway's floor), and closed 17.10: over the 50-day (16.15), 0.22 under the daily band top (17.32). The October future gave back most of its premium (18.50, an 8% basis from 19%). The put-call ratio printed 0.84 on the day; the framework's rule, written after last week's 0.81 was revised to 0.60, is that day-prints arm nothing until the revision.
Shock falls four to 46%, still the modal path. Monday printed the shock open — a 444-point gap, Brent at $109, the ten-year at 5.02% — and the market bought it at the landing. The framework takes that rejection at face value: the shock path's fast shape was tested on its first step and did not extend. The pipeline has a "very soon", the $109 line was rejected, and a second war's energy premium came out of the barrel. The legs are unchanged in kind — oil and rates over-met, credit half-met at 94.49, vol not met at 17.10 — but a shock path whose first test was absorbed is worth less than one that was not.
Rollover rises six to 36%. The staircase's next step printed on schedule and the members confirmed it: 29,334 lost on the open, 29,193 lost on the close, 29,168 with it, a new gap overhead, the count at a new low with the April analog tagged, the high-low index at 25.50, both summations through their next floors. The lid moved down from the 20-day to the 50/100-day cluster, and the first bounce into it is the rollover path's tactical trigger. The structural expression is a laddered short into the pivot stack, held through the Fed at half size — the one structure in Tuesday's set drawn to survive the decision.
Range falls two to 14%. The range path's price half is now half-intact: the S&P held its 50-day, the Nasdaq-100 did not. Its credit half moved further away, its breadth half is seven points and three closes away, and its Fed half is a Wednesday event. The range is 28,868–29,360 now — lower and wider.
Bull continuation stays at 4%. Nothing printed for it. What keeps it alive is the same list as Sunday, plus one item: the deep landing was bought on its first touch by someone.
The structures that filled, and where. Sunday's gap clause was written for an open 20 to 320 points under the 29,334 line; the open was 444 under. The 10:00–10:30 bar, which closed between 28,980 and 29,010 on the render, filled Option 01 (the Nasdaq-100 short) at roughly 29,000 — 334 under its trigger and under both of its first two targets — Option 03 (the S&P short) at roughly 7,600, under its first two targets, and Option 05 (the VIX long) at roughly 17.5, over both of its targets. The framework was short the equity low and long the vol high of the day on a single bar. None of the three was stopped: the highs stayed 195 and 32 points under the stops, the VIX low a point over its stop. All three are carried into Tuesday as open and underwater — 127 points, 20 points and 0.40 — and are booked that way. No partial is claimed: the bar after the Nasdaq-100 fill did not provably reach 28,972, and the S&P low did not reach 7,580.
What the exclusion clause avoided. Option 07 (the deep break under 29,038) would have filled on the same bar at the same price and its 29,260 stop was traded through by 25 points in the afternoon. It was not taken because its own clause forbade it while Option 01 was open. That is a 260-point loss avoided by construction, not by judgment, and it is logged as such.
What did not trigger. The pivot fades (02, 04) were never reached; the gold breakout (06) never came close. The gold real-yield short (08) missed all three gates by a hair — a close 2.63 over the trigger, a ten-year one basis point under 5%, a dollar future half a point under 99.2 — and the day's 2.7% range was the exclusion anyway. Not a loss and not a gain.
The design fault, owned and fixed. A gap clause that fills a structure beyond its own targets is a structure the framework drew badly, not a tape that behaved badly. The direction call was right (shock open, bounce sold, close under the average); the order placement was wrong. Two rule changes stand from this session: a gap-claused fill that prints beyond a structure's first target rolls automatically to the next structure's targets on the same instrument, and a trigger gapped through by more than one percent is half size. Right on level, wrong on timing — the recurring risk this framework names for itself — printed in full, and the 417-point rally it could not buy is the second unexpressible relief in three sessions. The rule that struck every tactical long stands; its cost is written down twice.
Sunday's map hit four of six — the S&P close, the VIX open (17.50 to the point), the ten-year range and Brent's direction — and missed both Nasdaq-100 legs: the open printed the bear alternative's number and the close landed 23 under the base range. The weekly close under the 20-week, retired as a miss on Sunday, is live again at 223 under 29,350 with the Fed between here and Friday.

Win probability is the framework's estimate that the first target prints before the stop within the horizon (one day to one week), given that the trigger has fired. It is conditional on the trigger, calibrated to the scenario weights (D 46 / C 36 / B 14 / A 4), the structure type's record in the past thirty days (failed-repair shorts three of five paid; relief fades four of five; gap-claused fills none of three — the new record), and the trigger's distance from the last print. It is not a backtest. Options at or below 50% are lower-odds, higher-payoff structures and carry the muted pill. Options 01, 03 and 05 are carried positions being managed, not fresh entries; their first-target odds are quoted from the actual fill. The unconventional slot is Option 08, a structural ladder held through the decision.

The base case is a bounce sold at the lost averages. Retail sales print at 08:30 New York; the CFD sits 11 under the 100-day. The cash opens 29,100–29,200, the first hour tests 29,168–29,193 and fails it on a 30-minute close, and the afternoon is decided at 29,038 and 28,972 — a hold there is a 29,000–29,150 close; a loss is 28,868 by the last hour with the deep break arming for Wednesday. The S&P tests 7,640 and fails it, and the 50-day (7,610) decides the afternoon. Weight moves toward the range path on two 30-minute closes over 29,193 and a Saudi restart date (the Energy Secretary promised a timeframe "tomorrow"): then 29,285–29,313 fills, the pivot stack is tested and the ladder sells it, and the S&P tests 7,662–7,677. Weight moves toward shock on a 5.00% ten-year close before the decision, a pipeline-damage statement measured in weeks, or a strike on a non-Iranian hull: then 28,868 goes on a 30-minute close, 28,777 and 28,564 follow, and gold goes through 4,253 with the rate licence on.
The Fed hikes (about 86% priced) and the dots decide the tape. Hawkish dots with oil over 105 put the ten-year through 5.00% on a close, the Nasdaq-100 through 28,868 and into a 28,280–29,038 range into Friday's expiry, with the shelf at 28,564 tested. Dovish dots run the relief into the pivot stack (29,304–29,360), where the ladder sells it with the count under 45, and the 28,868–29,360 box holds through expiry. The S&P mirrors 7,592–7,677 in the base case and 7,521–7,592 on the hawkish route. The VIX premium resolves by Wednesday 14:00. The counts print their first repair (over 45) only on the dovish route with a restart date. The pipeline's restart date is the swing input for oil: inside the week, Brent goes back to 101–104 and the single-gate read is restored; past the week, 109.44 then 112.50 then 120 and equity size to 10%.
The battleground is 27,753–29,972 and the tape sits in its lower third with the count at a new low. The September monthly RSI runs 68.14, 1.60 under the August final and 9.74 under the 77.88 line the three-peak thesis needs broken; a month running −1.1% at the 14th would need a +13% remainder to invalidate it. Base case: the FOMC resolves the vol structure, Saudi engineering restarts the pipeline inside two weeks, and the counts print a first repair from a lower base in the last week of September, with the Nasdaq-100 ranging 28,280–29,476. The shock route — hawkish dots, a 120 settle, credit under 94, a 5% close — takes 27,753 in September and the R3 band (26,751–27,151) in October; the bull parlay still needs five conditions, none free.
The central case remains a 26,500–30,000 range with downward drift while the monthly divergence stands, and the lower bound moved closer this week: a hiking Fed, a ten-year that has printed a five-handle twice, a Saudi export system on one corridor, and now a frontier-AI industry publicly asking itself to slow down — a capital-expenditure input the framework has not had to price before. The six-month base visits the R3 band once in the fourth quarter and holds it; year-end recovers toward 28,500–29,500 only if the September hike is the last and the strait and the pipeline reopen on dates. The bull tail (32,000–33,500) needs both wars to end, not pause; the shock tail (24,500–26,000) stacks a China-bank sanction, a 120 Brent transit, a hike into a jobs contraction and an AI-capex pause confirmed in the October prints.
Monday's US closes, the intraday lows and the sector moves are from CNBC, Yahoo Finance, Trading Economics and TheStreet; the Brent and WTI settlements, the pipeline damage imagery and the Energy Secretary's comments from CNBC and NBC News; the mine claim and Riyadh's Hormuz shipments from Bloomberg; the ten-year's 5% print from Yahoo Finance and CNBC; the Amodei essay and the AI-IPO reports from CNBC and the Financial Times via Investrade. Fed funds pricing (about 86%) is carried from the 13-September CNBC print; no post-Monday reading was found and the 5% tag argues higher. Live CFD, futures, yield and gold quotes are from the 06:37 SGT Investing.com JSON capture (new nested schema, parsed programmatically). Every chart value is a fresh 14-September print from Core_Charts_20260915.pdf, Gen 3 (55 of 55 core charts resolved by manifest label); the 60-minute Nasdaq-100 50-average is read from the axis label because a drawn line occludes the legend, and the NYSE composite's price averages are carried from 10 September. Carried values are marked as such and are not presented as Monday prints.
Monday repaired nothing and the framework's own orders made it worse: the shock open printed, the August landing was bought by the market and shorted by the framework on the same bar, and the bounce that followed was sold at the lost 50-day to the point. What did not change is the list that matters — the count at a new low with the April analog tagged, new lows expanding for a sixth session, credit at a new closing low, the ten-year refusing five percent for a second day, a pipeline with no restart date. The tactical line is 29,193: the carried shorts leave on a held 50-day or at 15:30 New York, whichever comes first, and the fresh fades arm only on rejection closes at the named lids. The next decision point is Tuesday's close on the ten-year — a 5.00% print there is the shock path's rate leg met before the Fed speaks — and then 14:00 Wednesday.
