LUBATIX TRADER DIGESTMONDAY · 28 SEPTEMBER 2026 · FRIDAY US CLOSE · WEEKEND UPDATE

The Price Half Printed, the Breadth Half Did Not: the Nasdaq-100 Closed Over 30,583 With the Count at 44.55, the 10-Year Held Five for a Third Close, and the Seven-Day Hormuz Plan Was Rejected

Friday gave the range read every price condition it needed and withheld the one breadth condition the rule requires. The Nasdaq-100 closed over the quarterly band top and over the gate un-print line on a one-sided Iranian offer and a two-percent fall in Brent, and 44.55% of its members were on buy signals against the 45% the un-print needs. The framework does not round, so the structural short is carried, and because a count-gated exit is not a falsifiable invalidation, it now carries a price-only backstop. The offer was rejected on Saturday. The framework signals the rollover and shock paths level at 32% each with the range path at 28%.

Executive Summary

Overnight in brief

The Nasdaq-100 closed 30,608 (+0.42%) over the gate's price line with the member count 0.45 short of un-printing it; Trump rejected Iran's Hormuz plan. Friday's cash close was S&P 500 7,743.41 (+0.51%), Nasdaq-100 30,608.13 (+0.42%) and VIX 14.87 (−5.11%), with the Dow +0.93% (a three-week losing streak snapped), the Nasdaq Composite +0.48% and the Russell +0.07%; the week was +3.25% on the Nasdaq-100 and +1.21% on the S&P. At 06:43 Singapore on Monday (Sunday 18:43 New York, the futures open) the Nasdaq-100 CFD was 30,525.7 (−0.27%), the S&P CFD 7,722.1, the VIX future 17.63, WTI 93.56 and gold 4,262.30. Friday's bid came from Foreign Minister Araghchi's offer at the UN to reopen Hormuz at the end of seven days if the June memorandum's terms are met, which sent Brent to a $104.32 settle (−2.1%) and halted the rise in yields; the ten-year closed 5.16, a third consecutive close over five, and the thirty-year 5.50, a new post-2004 high. On Saturday Trump called the plan not acceptable; on Sunday Ambassador Waltz said Iran was asking for everything up front, Araghchi said Tehran was still awaiting an official response, and Trump told Axios to expect more talks in the days ahead. Nothing was signed.

Framework signal

The framework signals the rollover path and the shock path level at 32% each with the range path rising to 28%, because Friday's daily close over 30,583 [the line that un-prints the structural gate] printed with 44.55% of Nasdaq-100 members on buy signals [the count], 0.45 short of the 45% the rule requires; the read stands while the count holds under 45, a daily close over 30,583 with the count over 45 makes the range path modal, a second consecutive daily close over 30,583 retires the structural short regardless of the count, and a 30-minute close under 30,414 puts the rollover's next step back on the map.
Called-shot note: Friday's issue mapped two gaps — a second sourced report gapping the tape up through 30,529, or a denial gapping it back to 30,204 — and neither printed. The tape ground up 129 points on a one-sided offer with no gap, and Saturday's rejection was worth 82 points on the Sunday futures. The map's five-of-five hit and the structural short's 348-point open loss are both accounted in the Honest Ledger.

What Friday Changed

The Nasdaq-100 closed over both of the rollover path's price lines. The index opened 30,517 with no cash gap, made its low of 30,414 in the first hour while the S&P printed 7,693 and the VIX 15.94, and then ground higher for the rest of the session to a late high of 30,668 and a close of 30,608, up 129 points. That close sits 112 over the running quarterly band top at 30,496, the level under which two daily closes had printed the structural gate on Wednesday and Thursday, and 25 over 30,583, the level a daily close over which un-prints that gate if the member count is over 45. Both price lines were taken. The week finished +3.25% with its high of 30,770.63 still 9.75 under the June all-time high, and the weekly close sat 105 under the weekly band top, which moved to 30,713.

The member count did not follow. The Nasdaq-100 bullish percent [the share of the hundred members on point-and-figure buy signals] rose two points to 44.55, its third consecutive close under 45 and its sixteenth under 50. The un-print needs the count over 45 on the same daily close as the price; it printed 0.45 short. The framework does not round a breadth series to fit a price close, so the gate is split: its price half is un-met and its breadth half stands. The structural short filled on Thursday's gap clause at about 30,260 is therefore carried by rule, 348 points underwater at the close and 266 on the Sunday-night CFD. That is the day's most important fact and it is accounted below.

The S&P traded through the 18-August lid and closed inside it. The index rose 0.51% to 7,743.41, with a high of 7,752.07 that went through the lid's top at 7,745 and 3.5 points into the 13-August band at 7,748.5–7,763 before the close settled 1.5 under the lid top. The low of 7,693 held 1.9 points over the old top of gap #42, so the 5.4-point remnant of that gap at 7,657–7,663 stays open. The 7-August band at 7,710–7,719, which stopped Thursday's spike to the cent, was closed over and is now the first shelf under the tape.

The advance-decline line closed positive for the first time in seven sessions, and two more members made new lows than new highs. NYSE advancers minus decliners finished +314 after a −555 low in the first hour, ending a run of six sessions sold into the bell. The Nasdaq-100 advance-decline percent closed +28.71, about 64 members up and 36 down, and its intraday high of 32.67 crossed the +30 repair line before the close missed it by 1.29. The framework counts closes: the repair stays 0 of 3. On the same session the Nasdaq-100 new-highs-minus-new-lows percent printed −1.98, two net new 52-week lows on a day the index rose and closed 172 points under its record. The NYSE McClellan oscillator rose 16 to −37.56, its largest rise of the leg, without reaching the −60 bounce arm; both summation indices made new lows, the NYSE at −559 through the −550 line and the Nasdaq at −484.

The VIX fell 5% while its future rose. The spot opened on its 20-day average at 15.61, printed 15.94 in the same first hour as the S&P's low, and closed 14.87 under every daily average. The front future finished the Sunday board at 17.63, up 0.12 from Thursday, so the basis re-widened from 14.4% to 18.6%. The curve did not price Friday's offer as a resolution, and on Saturday it was rejected.

What Friday Did Not Change

Credit. JNK printed 93.61 on the chart, a twelfth close under 95 and a third print under 94 in the leg, on a day every equity index rose; the high-yield option-adjusted spread widened to 2.80 on Thursday's data, a new high for the leg. No wire close has been found for three sessions and the render governs, flagged as unverified: the shock path's credit input is met on the chart and not yet booked. The landing bid stays retired and the ladders stay shut by 1.39.

Rates. The ten-year closed 5.16, down four basis points from Thursday's 5.20 and the third consecutive close over five; the wire quoted 5.18 at the close and the chart print is used, the two-basis-point gap logged. The shock path's rate input is binary and was booked on the second close, so the third adds nothing and the four-point fall withdraws nothing; the first withdrawal line is 4.94. The thirty-year made a new post-2004 high at 5.50 on a down-yield day for the ten-year, the two-year fell seven to 4.87, the curve steepened two to 29 basis points, and on the Sunday board the ten-year was back at 5.21. CME pricing carries two more hikes, at the 27–28 October meeting and in December; the thirty-year mortgage rate printed 7.45%, a two-year high. R16 stands with the spiral read intact for a twelfth session and the escalation-3 line at 5.25 nine basis points away.

Oil. Brent November settled $104.32, down 2.14% on the offer, a third consecutive settle over 101, so R14 step 3 and the 20% tactical cap stand; the step-4 watch at 109.45 moved from three dollars away to five. The November contract expires on Wednesday and the December contract trades several dollars lower in a backwardated curve — the Sunday board showed 98.71 — and the rule is stated in advance rather than argued afterwards: the settle rule keys to the front-month settle, so a December settle under 101 from Thursday counts as one of the two settles the 30% restore needs, and a board print is not a settle. Hormuz transits fell to nine vessels on Friday; the offer's terms were the June memorandum's, and the headline protocol treats an offer as neither a signature nor a report: outright index longs stay struck, and the two-side framework-report clause did not fire on a one-sided plan.

Breadth regime. The Nasdaq-100 count under 45 for a third session keeps the structural-short licence intact; the Nasdaq summation at a new low keeps the halving rule mandatory, so every tactical Nasdaq-100 short is at a quarter of one percent and the count restarts at zero; the NYSE high-low index made a new low at 14.80 with its RSI under 15 for a seventh session, which keeps the sizing gate at tier 3 and the bounce condition struck as an outright long. The NYSE Composite traded through its pre-alert line at 23,792 intraday for a second day and closed 121 over it; the 200-day cushion is 2.9%. The transports re-took 19,500 and the banks re-took 175, both whipsaws inside their down legs: the bank rung on the S&P fade is suspended while the banks are over 175, and the transports' next line is 19,000.

The Four Paths — Reweighted

D — Shock
32% (34)
C — Rollover
32% (34)
B — Range
28% (24)
A — Bull
8% (8)

Path D falls 2 to 32%. Brent settled 2.1% lower, the VIX fell 5%, and the ten-year's third close over five adds nothing to a binary input already booked. D does not give more because the offer that eased all three was rejected within a day, the ten-year is back at 5.21 on the Sunday board, the thirty-year made a new 2004 high, credit printed under 94 a third time on the chart and the VIX future rose into the weekend. D takes modal alone at 34 or more on a VIX close over 17.83, a verified JNK close under 94, or a Brent settle at 109.45.

Path C falls 2 to 32%. The gate is split. Its breadth half stands for a third session — the count under 45, both summations at new lows, the high-low index at a new low, the rollover count at 16 — and its price half is un-met after a daily close over both 30,496 and 30,583. C gives two for the price and no more because the members did not repair on the close: the repair line was missed by 1.29 and two net new lows printed on an up day. C takes modal alone on a daily close back under 30,496 with the count under 45.

Path B rises 4 to 28%. Every price condition of the range read printed: a daily close over the quarterly band top and the un-print line, the S&P through the 18-August lid, the advance-decline line positive for the first time in seven sessions, the Nasdaq-100 members 64 up and 36 down. B does not take modal because the count printed 44.55. B takes modal on a daily close over 30,583 with the count over 45, or on a second consecutive daily close over 30,583, which retires the structural short under the new backstop; it gives weight back on a daily close under 30,414.

Path A holds at 8%. An offer is not a signature and this one was rejected the next day; the release structure for outright longs is unchanged and unmet. A rises only on the twin gate — the count over 50 and JNK over 95 verified — or a signed Hormuz reopening date.

The Honest Ledger

The map hit five of five. Friday's issue projected the Nasdaq-100 in 30,290–30,668 with a close in 30,340–30,620; the close was 30,608 and the high 30,667.56, a fraction under the range top. The S&P in 7,655–7,755: 7,743. The VIX in 14.6–16.6: 14.87. The ten-year in 5.08–5.28: 5.16. Brent in 102–110: 104.32. It is the third consecutive Nasdaq-100 hit under the no-lean rule, and the rule stays.

The map's two gap scenarios both missed. Friday's issue said a second sourced report would gap the tape up through 30,529 and a denial would gap it back to 30,204. Neither printed: the bid was a one-sided offer that produced a grind, not a gap, and the denial came on Saturday and was worth 82 points on the Sunday futures rather than 400. The framework's headline protocol was right not to release longs on the offer; its expectation that the news would arrive as a gap was wrong, and that is owned.

The structural short is 348 points underwater by rule, and the rule has a flaw. Option 01 filled at about 30,260 on Thursday's gap clause and its exit was a daily close over 30,583 with the count over 45. Friday printed the close and not the count, by 0.45 of a point. The carry stands — that is what the rule said — and the honest reading is that an exit gated on a breadth series can hold a losing structural short alive indefinitely while price says the read is wrong. That is not a falsifiable invalidation. From v9.91 the structure carries a price-only backstop: a second consecutive daily close over 30,583 retires it regardless of the count. If Monday prints it, the carry retires at roughly minus 350 points on an eighth of a percent, and the loss is claimed in full.

The VIX doorway long is claimed as a loss it may not have taken. Option 06 required a 30-minute close over 15.83 with the S&P under 7,700. The VIX high of 15.94 and the S&P low of 7,693 printed in the same first-hour window; a fill at about 15.88 cannot be excluded from the daily bars, and the day's low of 14.68 took the 15.28 stop. The doctrine is unchanged: a loss that may exist is claimed. Minus 0.60 on a third, booked.

The gold short paid. Option 07, short from the 4,287.61 Wednesday close, ran to its own Friday 16:00 New York flat and is booked at the 4,267.50 chart close: plus 20 points on half a percent. The week's low of 4,244.41 pierced the 4,247 first target by 2.6 on spot and is not claimed, because the structure is on a daily-close basis. The lowered 4,352 stop was never approached; Friday's 4,315.83 high was sold from the 10-day and 50-day stack.

Five structures did not trigger and are not booked. Option 02's failure line (30,204) was 210 points under the day's low. Option 03 and Option 08 needed a 30-minute rejection close back under 30,502 after a 30,529 print; the print came on the way up from the first-hour low, the pullback held the 30-minute 20-average at 30,544 and no close back under 30,502 followed. Option 04 needed a rejection under 7,719 after a 7,724 print and the S&P closed 7,743. Option 05's line at 7,663 was 30 under the low. All five are re-keyed below.

Monday execution rule. The opening bar is not traded. Every structure arms on the first qualifying 30-minute close after 10:00 New York. The futures opened 82 points under Friday's close on the rejection: a cash open under 30,414 fills Option 02 at half size on the first post-10:00 close that holds under it with the first target rolled to the second, and a cash open under 30,204 stands Option 02 down in favour of the structural carry; a cash open over 30,668 trims a third of Option 01 and Option 03 waits for its rejection close rather than chasing. The backstop is a daily close: nothing about it is decided before 16:00 New York.

Step 9 — Trade Structures

Leveraged retail sizing. The percentages below are risk-to-stop as a share of account equity on a roughly 200× FxPro CFD account trading notionals of USD 200k–1m, not notional exposure. Under R14 step 3 the tactical cap is 20% of normal size; under the halving rule every tactical Nasdaq-100 short is at 0.25% and the structural rung at 0.125%; the S&P fade is at 0.5% without its bank rung. No structure is added to on a headline bar and no outright index long is taken while nothing is signed.

Win probability is the framework's calibrated estimate that the first target prints before the stop within the horizon, conditional on the trigger firing, on a one-day-to-one-week basis. It is not a backtest. It is tiered to the first, second and flat targets and calibrated to the scenario weights, the structure type's realised record in the last thirty days of digests and the trigger's distance from the last price. Options at or below 50% are lower-odds, higher-payoff structures and are marked with a muted pill — on this tape every one of the eight sits at or under 50%, and that is stated rather than adjusted. Option 08 is the unconventional structure; the leadership pair stays retired.

NDX — the structural short, carried under a new backstop: short from ≈30,260 (eighth size), stop 30,790, the flat at 29,933
Entry
USTECH CFD, short 0.125% CARRIED from the 24-Sep gap-clause fill ≈30,260 — now 348 points underwater at the 30,608 close (266 on the 30,525.7 CFD). No add (the add-back rung is Option 08). Rung re-anchoring: the retired structural ladder's first rung, re-anchored to the quarterly band top and filled under the gate; the carry is the trade, the average is the cost. Gap clause (Monday, v9.90 precedence): a cash open OVER 30,668 (Friday's high) trims a third at the first post-10:00 New York close; a cash open under 30,414 (Friday's low) rolls the first target to the second.
Stop
30,790 — outside the June all-time high 30,780 and the daily band top 30,770: beyond every lid; 122 over Friday's high. No gap sits between the tape and the stop.
Targets
30,414 (Friday's low) · 30,204 (Thursday's low) · 29,933 (the top of gap #41 = the flat)
Win prob.
~35% to 30,414 · ~30% to 30,204 · ~22% to flat (29,933). Conditional on the carry (already filled); reward-to-risk from the 30,608 close about 1.1:1 to the first target against the 182-point stop distance, 2.2:1 to the second, 3.7:1 to the flat — from the 30,260 fill the first target still pays nothing (it is 154 over the fill) and only the flat pays 327. The odds are well under 50 because the position starts 348 underwater, the tape closed over the un-print line, the count kept the position by 0.45 of a point and the Sunday futures gave back only 82 of the 129 the offer bought.
Why
The quarterly band top (30,496) and the gate un-print line (30,583) were both closed over on Friday; the count (44.55) was not. The gate needs both to un-print, so the structure is carried — and the honest reading is that a count-gated exit can hold a losing structural short alive on a fraction of a point indefinitely. v9.91 adds a price-only backstop: a SECOND consecutive daily close over 30,583 retires the carry regardless of the count. That backstop can print Monday.

NDX — the Friday low handed back: sell a holding close under 30,414
Entry
USTECH CFD, sell-stop 0.25% (halving rule) on the first 30-minute close after 10:00 New York that holds under 30,414 — Friday's low, with the 30-minute band floor 30,396 and the daily EMA-5 30,398 two points under it and the 30-minute 69-average 30,436 over it — and only after the cash session has traded at or over 30,544 (the 30-minute 20-average). Void on a next-bar close back over 30,436. GAP CLAUSE (v9.90 precedence — the gap is the print): a cash open under 30,414 fills on the first post-10:00 close that holds under it at half size with the first target rolled to the second; a cash open under 30,204 stands the structure down (the structural short, Option 01, owns the move — same-bar exclusion).
Stop
30,700 — outside Friday's high 30,668 and the 30-minute band top 30,693: over the stack the failure must hold under. It sits inside no gap.
Targets
30,204 (Thursday's low) · 30,093 (30-minute 100-average) · 29,933 (gap #41 top = the flat)
Win prob.
~42% to 30,204 · ~34% to 30,093 · ~24% to flat (29,933). Conditional on the holding close after a 30,544 print; reward-to-risk about 0.7:1 on the first target from 30,410 against the 290-point stop, 1.1:1 on the second, 1.6:1 on the flat.
Why
Friday's low is where the first hour's selling was absorbed with the S&P at 7,693 and the VIX at 15.94; a close back under it after the 20-average has printed means the offer-bought advance has been given back to the sellers who were there before it. The realised record of the failure sell-stop in this window is two gap-clause fills at the low of the day and nothing else — the odds carry that.

NDX — the weekly-band-top fade: sell a rejection close back under 30,668 after a 30,713 print with a 30-minute RSI divergence
Entry
USTECH CFD, short 0.25% (halving rule) at 30,668–30,713 — Friday's high and the weekly band top — only on a 30-minute rejection close back under 30,668 after a print at or over 30,713 made after 10:00 New York, with the 30-minute RSI under 70 on that print (the v9.87 divergence rule: the 22-Sep high 30,770 printed with a 30-minute RSI of 83.45; a higher price on a lower RSI is the qualifier). A 30-minute close over 30,770 (the daily band top) before the rejection voids the day. Gap clause: a cash open over 30,713 is not chased — the structure waits for the rejection close or stands down.
Stop
30,830 — outside the June all-time high 30,780 and the daily band top 30,770: over the two lids the rejection must fail under. Accepted: the monthly band top 31,905 is far above.
Targets
30,544 (30-minute 20-average) · 30,436 (30-minute 69-average) · 30,414 (Friday's low)
Win prob.
~44% to 30,544 · ~34% to 30,436 · ~28% to flat (30,414). Conditional on the rejection close with the divergence; reward-to-risk about 0.8:1 on the first target from 30,665 against the 165-point stop, 1.4:1 on the second, 1.5:1 on the flat.
Why
The weekly band top 30,713, the 60-minute band top 30,707, the 30-minute band top 30,693 and Friday's high 30,668 sit inside 45 points, with the daily band top and the all-time high 57–67 points over them — three lids in 67 points 172 under the ATH. The ATH-band fade was retired in v9.87 until 30,684 was re-taken on a 30-minute close; Friday's high came 16 short, so it is re-keyed to the new weekly band top rather than restored. The divergence rule keeps it from selling a thrust.

SPX — the lid fade, without the bank rung: sell a rejection close back under 7,745 after a 7,752 print
Entry
US500 CFD, short 0.5% (the rates-banks licence x9) at 7,745–7,752 — the 18-August lid top 7,745 (Friday closed 1.5 under it), the 13-August band floor 7,748.5 and Friday's high 7,752 — only on a 30-minute rejection close back under 7,745 after a print at or over 7,752 made after 10:00 New York, with both counts under 45 (37.00 / 44.55 — MET). The BKX rung (0.25%) is SUSPENDED — the banks closed back over 175. A 30-minute close over 7,763 (the 13-August band top) before the rejection voids the day.
Stop
7,775 — outside the record close 7,771 and the 13-August band top 7,763: beyond the two lids. The daily band top 7,791 sits over it, accepted — a stop under it is the trade.
Targets
7,723 (30-minute 20-average) · 7,714 (60-minute 20-average = the 18-August lid floor) · 7,700 (60-minute 50-average)
Win prob.
~48% to 7,723 · ~38% to 7,714 · ~28% to flat (7,700). Conditional on the rejection close; reward-to-risk about 0.9:1 on the first target from 7,747 against the 28-point stop, 1.2:1 on the second, 1.7:1 on the flat.
Why
Friday traded through the 18-August lid to 7,752 and closed 1.5 under its top with 27.6% of S&P members over their 50-day and the broad count at 37 — an index at the lid with the members at the low of the leg is the licence. The odds sit under 50 because the S&P has spent a week being bought under 7,700 and the lid fades in this window (Opt-04 v9.89/v9.90) did not trigger rather than failed — there is no realised loss to weigh, and no realised gain either.

SPX — the Friday-low sell-stop: sell a holding close under 7,693
Entry
US500 CFD, sell-stop 0.33% on the first 30-minute close after 10:00 New York that holds under 7,693 — Friday's low, with the 30-minute band floor 7,691, the 30-minute 100-average 7,692 and the old gap #42 top 7,691 stacked under it — and only after the cash session has traded at or over 7,723 (the 30-minute 20-average). Void on a next-bar close back over 7,714. GAP CLAUSE (v9.90 precedence): a cash open under 7,693 fills on the first post-10:00 close that holds under it, half size, the first target rolled to the second; a cash open under 7,663 stands the structure down.
Stop
7,755 — outside Friday's high 7,752 and the 30-minute band top 7,754: over the lid the failure must hold under. It sits inside no open gap (the remnant is below).
Targets
7,681 (gap #34 top / 60-minute 200-average) · 7,672 (20-day) · 7,663 (gap #42 remnant top)
Win prob.
~44% to 7,681 · ~36% to 7,672 · ~28% to flat (7,663). Conditional on the holding close after a 7,723 print; reward-to-risk about 0.2:1 on the first target from 7,690 against the 65-point stop, 0.3:1 on the second, 0.4:1 on the flat — a poor ratio stated plainly: the structure is a fill rule for the remnant, not a payoff on its own; it is taken only for what follows under 7,663.
Why
The 5.4-point remnant of gap #42 (7,657–7,663) is the last open magnet under the S&P inside the week's map; a holding close under Friday's low with the 30-minute band floor and the old gap top stacked at 7,691–7,693 is the first evidence the remnant is being filled rather than defended. The realised record here is one gap-clause fill at the low of the day (Thursday) that stopped 5.6 short of its rolled target.

VIX — the doorway re-entry long, re-keyed: buy a 30-minute close over 15.63 with the S&P under 7,723
Entry
VIX CFD (spot-referenced), long 0.25% on the first 30-minute close after 10:00 New York over 15.63 (the 20-day; Friday's open printed on it and the close fell 0.76 under it) with the S&P under 7,723 (its 30-minute 20-average) on the same bar — the bought-with-the-index condition. No add. The prior attempt (v9.90) is claimed as a loss; this is a fresh entry keyed to a daily average rather than a session open.
Stop
14.60 — outside Friday's low 14.68 and the 30-minute band floor 14.69; the old war-gap band (14.58–15.22) is filled, so no magnet sits under the stop — but the week's low 14.12 is under it, accepted.
Targets
15.94 (Friday's high) · 16.04 (50-day) · 16.28 (69-day)
Win prob.
~42% to 15.94 · ~34% to 16.04 · ~26% to flat (16.28). Conditional on the close over 15.63 with the S&P under 7,723; reward-to-risk about 0.3:1 on the first target from 15.68 against the 1.08 stop distance, 0.3:1 on the second, 0.6:1 on the flat — the stop is wide because the framework will not place it inside Friday's range.
Why
The spot fell 5% on Friday while the future rose 0.12 and the basis re-widened to 18.6%: the curve did not price the offer as a resolution, and the offer was rejected on Saturday. A 30-minute close back over the 20-day with the S&P under its hourly-scale average is the evidence that the vol crush is being unwound in the same session it started. The odds carry the realised record: the last doorway attempt (Thursday's spike) paid on the carry and lost on the add; Friday's may have filled and stopped in one session.

XAUUSD — the re-armed short: sell a daily close under 4,246 with the ten-year over 5.00
Entry
XAUUSD CFD, sell-stop 0.5% on a DAILY close under 4,246 (the 69-day 4,245.71; Friday's low 4,254.61 and the week's low 4,244.41 sit either side of it) with the ten-year over 5.00 on the same daily close (5.16 Friday; 5.21 on the Sunday board). No 30-minute trigger — the v9.77 rule: gold fills on a daily close only. The prior short (from 4,287.61) is BOOKED +20 at its own Friday flat and is not carried. Gap clause: a Monday cash open under 4,235 (the September low) fills at half size on the Monday close with the first target rolled to the second.
Stop
4,316 — outside Friday's high 4,315.83 and the 10-day / 50-day stack 4,312 / 4,309 that sold Friday's rally: over the lid the break must hold under. The daily EMA-5 4,296 sits between the trigger and the stop as the first resistance, accepted.
Targets
4,235 (the September low) · 4,228 (daily band floor) · 4,205 (the old floor)
Win prob.
~40% to 4,235 · ~32% to 4,228 · ~22% to flat (4,205). Conditional on the daily close under 4,246 with the ten-year over 5.00; reward-to-risk from 4,244 about 0.1:1 on the first target against the 72-point stop (it is the confirmation, not the trade), 0.2:1 on the second, 0.5:1 on the flat.
Why
The 69-day is the average that held gold's whole September decline on a closing basis (the low 4,244 pierced it intraday and closed over it); a daily close under it with the ten-year at a 2007 high is the continuation the short licence exists for. The odds are low because the first and second targets are 11–18 points away and the stop is 72 away — the structure pays only if the old floor goes, and gold has bounced from 4,244 twice.

NDX — the structural add-back rung, re-keyed to the weekly band top: a second structural rung at 30,668–30,713 re-anchoring the carry to ≈30,464 — UNCONVENTIONAL
Entry
USTECH CFD, short 0.125% (matching the carried rung) on the same trigger as Option 03 — a 30-minute rejection close back under 30,668 after a print at or over 30,713 after 10:00 New York, 30-minute RSI under 70 on the print — but sized and stopped as a STRUCTURAL rung, not a day trade: it carries with Option 01 and re-anchors the blended average from ≈30,260 to ≈30,464. UNCONVENTIONAL: the carried rung is 348 underwater; the add-back converts a losing carry into a two-rung structure whose break-even sits at 30,464 — the running quarterly band top, 144 under Friday's close — and whose flat at 29,933 pays 531 on the blend. It is the only add the structure allows, and it is allowed only at the weekly band top with a divergence.
Stop
30,790 — the structural stop, outside the June all-time high 30,780 and the daily band top 30,770; a stop shared with Option 01 so that one print voids both rungs at once — accepted by design. Note the v9.91 backstop also applies to both rungs: a second consecutive daily close over 30,583 retires the blend.
Targets
30,464 (the blended break-even = the quarterly band top) · 30,414 (Friday's low) · 29,933 (the gap #41 top = the flat)
Win prob.
~40% to 30,464 · ~34% to 30,414 · ~22% to flat (29,933). Conditional on the rejection close with the divergence; reward-to-risk about 1.7:1 on the first target from 30,665 against the 125-point stop distance, 2.0:1 on the second, 5.9:1 on the flat — a structural rung carries a wide stop by design; the first target is the point at which the whole carry stops losing. The odds are low because the backstop can retire the blend on Monday's close before any target prints.
Why
Unconventional. A losing structural carry has two honest ends: retire it or re-anchor it at the lid it was built to sell. The weekly band top with a 30-minute RSI divergence is that lid; adding there halves the distance to break-even and keeps the total structural exposure at a quarter of the tactical size. The rung is not taken on a thrust (RSI ≥70), not taken if the tape opens over 30,713, and it dies with the carry on the backstop.

Market Path

Next 24 hours

Base case: a range of 30,446–30,771 on the Nasdaq-100, 325 points centred on Friday's close under the no-lean rule, with a projected close of 30,490–30,720; the S&P 7,695–7,790; the VIX 14.0–16.0; the ten-year 5.08–5.28; a Brent settle of 100–108. The futures opened 82 lower on the rejection, which puts the Sunday-night tape under the 30,583 line and on the 30-minute 20-average; Monday has no top-tier data and the headline window is the mediators' response and the talks Trump says are coming. Reweighting up: a second daily close over 30,583 retires the structural short by the backstop and, if the count crosses 45, makes the range path modal with 30,668, 30,713 and 30,770 the lids under the all-time high. Reweighting down: a holding 30-minute close under 30,414 after a 30,544 print is the rollover's next step toward 30,204 and 29,933; a daily close back under 30,496 with the count under 45 makes the rollover path modal alone; a VIX close over 17.83, a verified JNK close under 94 or a settle at 109.45 makes the shock path modal alone.

One week

Base case: the week is the verdict week. The Nasdaq-100 holds 30,204–30,780 inside the wider 29,933–31,000 into Wednesday's September monthly and quarterly close, where a close under 30,780 with the monthly RSI under 77.88 — it is running 72.02 — locks the lower-peak retest the thesis was built on; the tape is 172 under the high with three sessions left. Wednesday also carries PCE, the third GDP estimate, ADP, Micron and the November Brent expiry; Thursday ISM; Friday the September payrolls, expected near 85–100k with unemployment at 4.1–4.2%. Reweighting up: 30,583 held on two daily closes with the count over 45 (B 34, C 26, D 30, and the structural short out); a monthly close over 30,780 with the count over 50 and JNK over 95 verified (B to A). Reweighting down: a daily close under 30,414 runs the ladder 30,204 → 29,933 → 29,648 → 29,444 → 29,236–29,306 (C and D to 34–36 each, B to 20); with a VIX close over 17.83 or a verified credit break, the shock path is modal and the ladder runs inside the week.

One month

Base case: a retest on a lower RSI, printed and one session from locking, followed by the resolution of the co-modal rollover-or-shock read across the first two weeks of Q3 earnings from around 13 October, with CPI on the 14th and a hike priced for the 27–28 October meeting. A ten-year over five for three closes and a thirty-year at a 2004 high cap every relief; the seven-day plan is the largest upside input if it is ever signed and the largest sell-the-news for the war bid if it is. Central range 29,236–30,780. Reweighting up requires the five-condition parlay — a signed date, two settles under 101, JNK over 95 verified, the ten-year under 4.90 and the count over 50 — for 30,780–31,905. Reweighting down: a settle at 109.45 plus a verified credit break plus a VIX close over 21 runs the shock ladder 29,236 → 28,753 → 27,753 → the R3 band at 27,245–27,354, where the quarterly EMA-5 ladder re-arms only with credit over 95 and Brent under 101.

Six months and year-end

Base case: a 27,000–30,800 range with downward drift while the monthly divergence resolves, under a hike cycle with two more increases priced and a ten-year that has now closed over five three times. A rejected offer does not move the drift; a signature would move the near-term high and not the divergence. Year-end is conditional on Wednesday's monthly close: a September close under 30,780 with the monthly RSI under 77.88 — the likelier print — then a rollover-or-shock resolution and recovery puts the Nasdaq-100 at 27,500–29,800 and the S&P at 7,100–7,700. The upside tail requires a peace dividend, disinflation resuming into 2027 and a Fed pause after October for 31,500–33,000; the downside tail requires a secondary sanction on a Chinese bank, a 120 Brent transit, a third hike and a verified credit crack for 24,500–26,000, with the 38.2% retracement at 25,882 the terminal.

The Bottom Line

Friday repaired the price and not the breadth. The Nasdaq-100 closed over the quarterly band top and over the line that un-prints the structural gate, the S&P traded through its August lid, and the advance-decline line closed positive for the first time in a week; the member count printed 44.55 against the 45 the rule needs, two net new lows printed on an up day and both summations made new lows. The offer that bought the tape was rejected on Saturday and the Sunday futures gave back 82 of the 129 points. The structural short is carried 348 points underwater by rule, now with a price-only backstop, and the tactical line is 30,414 on the downside and 30,668–30,713 on the upside with the rejection-and-divergence rule governing any fade. The next decision point is Monday's daily close against 30,583, and after it Wednesday's monthly close against 30,780.
