LUBATIX TRADER DIGESTTUESDAY · 13 OCTOBER 2026 · MONDAY US CLOSE · BANK EARNINGS TODAY · CPI WEDNESDAY

A Lower Low and Still No Line: the Nasdaq-100 Fell 0.71% to 30,664.70 While Its Breadth Count Rose, the S&P 500 Went Through 7,817 a Second Day and Closed 7,807.24, Brent Settled $106.65 — and the Bond Market Reopens Into Bank Earnings and CPI

Monday's issue named the day's decision as the S&P's close against 7,817, and for a second session the index traded through that line and closed under it. The Nasdaq-100 did the opposite kind of nothing: it made a lower low, lost both of its fast daily averages and stopped 82 points over the line that would change this framework's read. Underneath, more of its members turned up than down, and the NYSE's breadth oscillator gave the framework the confirmation it had written. The bond market was shut, so the rate line was not tested. No published line printed and nothing is reweighted. The framework signals the shock path still modal at 34%.

Executive Summary

Overnight in brief

The Nasdaq-100 fell 0.71% to 30,664.70 and the S&P 500 0.06% to 7,807.24 on Monday; the VIX rose to 15.21 and December Brent settled $106.65. The Dow rose 0.38% as memory-chip makers pulled technology lower. US bond markets were closed, so the ten-year printed no close. Over the weekend Houthi strikes hit Riyadh's main airport and tankers were struck off Oman and in the strait; nothing was signed. At 06:44 Singapore Tuesday (18:44 New York Monday) the Nasdaq-100 CFD was 30,671.6, the S&P CFD 7,811.9, Brent 106.12 and gold 4,171.97. Four large banks report before today's open; CPI is Wednesday.

Framework signal

The framework signals the shock path modal at 34% while Brent settles over 101 with nothing signed; a daily S&P close over 7,817 moves two points to the range path, and a daily Nasdaq-100 close under 30,583 [the rollover line] makes the rollover path modal.
Called-shot note: no published line printed for a second session. Monday's map scored three of four. Two chart-read gains are not claimed; one possible loss is.

What Monday Changed

The Nasdaq-100 made a lower low and lost both fast daily averages. It opened at 30,796, inside Friday's range, and lost Friday's low and its ten-day average inside the first half-hour. The 10:30 bar ended near 30,668, a midday bounce stalled near 30,729, and the session's low of 30,618.64 came late. The close was 30,664.70, down 0.71% — 151 points under the daily EMA-5, 115 under the ten-day and 82 over the rollover line at 30,583. The sequence is read from the 30-minute chart, not from tick data.

The fall was in the weights, not in the members. A Chinese memory maker announced progress on a new chip design; Micron and SK Hynix fell more than 3%, Sandisk about 7% and Lumentum between 7% and 10% depending on the source. The technology sector lost 1.25%. Yet the Nasdaq-100 bullish percent — the share of members on point-and-figure buy signals — rose 2.97 to 42.57, three net new buy signals on a down day, and four more members made 52-week highs than lows. Forty-seven of the hundred finished higher.

The S&P 500 went through its line again and closed under it again. It opened at 7,813, printed 7,821.67 in its opening bar — five points over the old August high — traded near 7,818 again around midday, fell to 7,796.94 and closed at 7,807.24, down 0.06%. The whole day was a 25-point range. Energy and consumer staples led; the Dow rose 0.38% to 51,850.55.

The NYSE's breadth oscillator closed over zero a second consecutive day. The McClellan oscillator ended at +9.93 after Friday's +10.12. This framework's own rule calls two consecutive closes over zero the confirmation of the NYSE repair print. The NYSE summation index rose a second day, the NYSE Composite added 0.22%, and the momentum reading on the NYSE high-low index crossed back over 30, which closes the oversold episode that began in September.

Oil settled at its highest in more than two weeks. December Brent settled at $106.65, up 1.8%, and WTI at $93.74. Houthi strikes on Riyadh's main airport on Saturday killed between 12 and 14 people by different counts and halted operations; a drone hit a tanker off Oman, a projectile hit another leaving the strait, and Iranian state media reported one more ship struck on Monday. Brent had opened lower on a Russia–Ukraine energy truce the President announced on Sunday, which Kyiv doubts. Monday's issue did not carry the airport strike or the truce; both belong in the weekend's record and are added here.

What Monday Did Not Change

Rates. There was no Treasury close. Friday's 5.24% is carried, and the count of closes under 5.25 stays at two; the line was not tested, which is different from being passed. The dollar index made a new closing high for the move at 102.56. Cash trading resumes today, and Wednesday's CPI carries a headline consensus of 3.6% from a year earlier against 3.4% in August, with core at 2.5%.

Credit. The high-yield ETF added ten cents to 92.93, its twenty-third close under 95. The spread series did not print with the bond market shut; Friday's 3.15 is carried. Credit has neither confirmed nor refused the broad market's repair.

The slow Nasdaq series and the monthly divergence. The Nasdaq summation index made a new low and its oscillator moved further under zero, to −10.96. NYSE decliners led advancers by 132 on a day the NYSE Composite rose, and the Nasdaq-100's advance-decline reading closed at −6.93. Neither repair count this framework keeps has started. October's running bar holds a higher high than June's on a monthly RSI of 72.16 against 77.88; that gap widened to 5.72.

Volatility. The VIX rose 2.5% to 15.21 on a flat S&P and closed on its fast daily average, under a stack of four slower ones between 15.41 and 15.56. The front future eased, so its premium over the spot narrowed from 14.8% to 10.5%, and the equity put-call ratio rose to 0.79. Hedges were bought ahead of the banks and CPI. The close is two points under the 17.22 line that would add weight to the shock path.

Diplomacy. Iran's foreign ministry said Tehran is still reviewing Washington's response and will answer through intermediaries; the dispute is over sequence — the nuclear file first, or the strait first. The President said the war will end "very soon" and that the midterms will not affect his Iran policy, which loosens the date he attached to his no-strike pledge on 8 October, and said the US may join Saudi strikes on the Houthis. Nothing was signed, so outright index longs stay struck.

No weight moved for a second session. Every line that could be tested on Monday's close was tested and none printed; the ten-year's line could not be tested at all.

Path D holds at 34% and stays modal. Its oil input worsened without reaching a line: Brent's settle is 2.80 under the 109.45 step that adds two points. Its rate input did not print. The VIX closed at 15.21 against 17.22, the carried credit spread is 3.15 against 3.50, and the NYSE Composite is 639 points over its 200-day. It adds four on a ten-year close back over 5.25, which today's session can deliver for the first time since Friday.

Path C holds at 30%. The index made a lower high and a lower low, closed under both fast daily averages, and its daily MACD is one session from crossing down; the Nasdaq summation made a new low. Against that, the count rose on the fall and half the members are still over their 50-day average. C becomes modal on a daily close under 30,583, now 82 points away instead of 300.

Path B holds at 28%. It was again the path closest to a step: its line is an S&P close over 7,817, and the S&P printed 7,821.67 and closed 7,807.24. Its evidence improved a third session, and the last two issues had no line written for that. One is written now, in advance: the first NYSE advance-decline close over +800 while the oscillator is over zero moves two points from the rollover path to the range path. Monday's reading was −132.

Path A holds at 8%. Its twin gate moved a little closer on one side — the count is 7.4 points from 50, from 10.4 — and not at all on the other, with high-yield 2.07 under 95. A count that rises on a down day is not a gate that has opened, and "very soon" is not a signature.

The Honest Ledger

One call resolved as written. This framework's breadth rule said a second consecutive close over zero on the NYSE oscillator would confirm the NYSE repair print. It printed. The rule carried no weight in the matrix because none had been written, so none is taken; the line above is the correction.

Monday's map: three of four. The S&P closed inside its projected band (7,807 against 7,788–7,835), the VIX inside its range and Brent's settle inside 101–109. The Nasdaq-100 closed 25 points under the bottom of its band, with its low inside the full range — a downside miss, the first on that side since 1 October. The ten-year was not mapped.

Two triggers inside the chart's resolution; neither gain is claimed. The S&P fade (Option 04) needed a print inside 7,817–7,838 after 10:00 and a half-hour close back under 7,817. The day's high came in the opening bar and does not count. Near midday one bar reads about 7,818–7,819 at its high and about 7,809 at its close — inside the zone by about a point and a half, which is two pixels. On that reading the short was entered near 7,809, its first target of 7,803 printed and it was flat near 7,800. The Nasdaq-100 sell-stop (Option 02) closed its trigger bar near 30,668, about 128 points under the open against an exhaustion limit of 133 — armed by five points on an image that resolves five; if armed, it made about 25. A gain that may not exist is not claimed. Neither is booked.

One clause was ambiguous, and its possible loss is claimed. The VIX long (Option 06) opened over its trigger, which put it under its gap clause — and that clause did not restate the condition that the S&P be under 7,797. The S&P never closed a half-hour there, so the structure as named did not trigger. Read without the condition, a half-size long near 15.35 was flat near 15.20. The ambiguity was this framework's own: a loss of 0.15 on an eighth of a percent of book is claimed. VIX fills cannot be verified inside this pipeline.

A read that was right and not owned. The rotation pair (Option 07) has now seen its ratio fall from 3.96 to 3.93, through its first target, across two sessions in which it was never entered: a clause barring entry with the Nasdaq-100 under 30,740 kept it out on every qualifying bar. No gain is claimed. It is booked as a design miss, and the trigger is re-keyed to the ratio alone.

Structures that did not trade. The Nasdaq-100 fade never saw its zone; the high was 171 points under it. The structural short did not arm: the close was over 30,583 and the count rose. The S&P sell-stop sat 18 points under the low. Gold traded to 4,217 — through the 4,208 line the long was keyed to — and closed near 4,172; the daily-close rule is the only reason that long is not about forty dollars underwater, and no credit is claimed for a loss avoided.

Still open. The final column of the 7 October record-odds table resolves on today's close. The Nasdaq-100 would need 2.3% for a new high, so those two estimates will miss; the S&P needs 0.5% for a new high and 0.15% for a record close. Outright index longs stayed struck through a down session — no cost on the day, and none claimed as a saving.

Tuesday execution rule. JPMorgan, Goldman Sachs, Citigroup and Wells Fargo report before the open and the bond market prints its first close since Friday; no scheduled release sits inside the cash session. The opening bar is not traded and no structure chases a gap; the first qualifying 30-minute close is the 10:30 bar. One tactical short per index: Options 01 and 02 behave as one-cancels-other, as do Options 04 and 05. Option 03 is not a Tuesday trade — it arms only on a daily close and enters the following session from the 10:30 bar. No outright index long is in the set. Everything tactical — indices, the VIX and the pair — is flat by 15:30: nothing tactical is carried into Wednesday's 08:30 CPI. Step 9 — Trade Structures

Leveraged retail sizing. This plan does not prescribe position size in currency. The percentages are book-risk allocations: a "0.25%" structure risks a quarter of a percent of book equity between entry and stop, and a leveraged CFD account at up to 200× can express that with a fraction of margin. The framework's tactical cap is 20%: Brent has settled over 101 three times. With the ten-year's last two closes under 5.25, tactical shorts are half size; a close back over it today restores full size the next session. The bank rung is not carried into a bank-earnings session. The halving rule applies to any long. A trigger gapped through by more than one percent is half size. The pair is sized on the pair, not on each leg. Nothing is entered on the opening bar, and nothing tactical is held past 15:30 into CPI.

Win probability is the framework's estimate that the first target prints before the stop within one day to one week, conditional on the trigger firing; it is not a backtest. It is calibrated to the scenario weights, to how each structure type has behaved across the last thirty days of issues — two fades have met their triggers this month, one for a scratch and one for a small unclaimed gain; first-shelf sell-stops lost three times on 1 October — and to the distance from the last price. All eight sit under 50% and carry the muted pill: lower-odds, higher-payoff structures. No outright index long is issued, because nothing is signed and the S&P is 0.5% from its record. Two structures are unconventional: Option 03, a daily-close breadth-confirmed short re-timed around CPI, and Option 07, a short-Nasdaq / long-S&P pair re-keyed to the ratio alone and flagged for the operator to strike. If the pair is struck, its slot goes to gold's long side — a daily close over 4,217 after CPI — which with Option 08 makes gold a two-sided bracket.

NDX — the lost-averages fade: sell a rejection close back under 30,779 after a print inside 30,779–30,816
Entry
USTECH CFD, short 0.25% (half tactical size — the ten-year's last two cash closes were under 5.25, so tactical shorts stay at half size) at 30,779–30,816 — the daily 10-average and the hourly 20-average, both 30,779, up to the daily EMA-5 30,816, with the hourly 69-average 30,798 and Monday's high 30,813.96 (30,814) inside — only on a 30-minute rejection close back under 30,779 after a print inside the zone made after 10:00 New York. No tactical short on strength: a 30-minute close over 30,816 before the rejection voids the day. Gap clause: a cash open inside or over the zone is not chased — the structure waits for a post-10:00 print in the zone and the close back under, or stands down. The Monday-evening board (30,672) is 107 points under the zone.
Stop
30,862 — outside the daily EMA-5 30,816 and the 30-minute 50-average 30,858: over the two averages a failed retest must stay under. No open gap sits between entry and stop.

Win prob.
~44% to 30,691 · ~32% to 30,624 · ~22% to flat (30,583). Conditional on the rejection close; reward-to-risk about 1.0:1 on the first target from 30,775 against the 87-point stop, 1.7:1 on the second, 2.2:1 on the flat.
Why
Monday lost both fast daily averages in its first hour and never traded back to either. They now sit overhead as a 37-point band with two hourly averages inside it. A bounce into that band that closes back beneath it is the first retest of a shelf lost on a day the memory-chip makers led the index down. The odds are under half because the count rose three points on Monday's fall — the members were bought — and four banks report before the open, which can move the whole tape before 10:00.

NDX — the rollover line lost intraday: sell a holding close under 30,583 after a 30,624 print, with the buffered exhaustion rule
Entry
USTECH CFD, sell-stop 0.25% on the first 30-minute close after 10:00 New York that holds under 30,583 — the rollover line, with the hourly band floor 30,558 and Thursday's low 30,556 just beneath it — and only after the cash session has traded at or over 30,624 (the daily EMA-14; Monday's low is 30,619). Exhaustion rule, with the new buffer: not armed if the trigger bar closes more than 149 points under the session's open (60% of Monday's 265-point true range, less ten points for the chart's resolution). Void on a next-bar close back over 30,624. Gap clause: a cash open under 30,583 fills on the first post-10:00 close that holds under it only after a 30,624 print, at 0.125%, first target rolled to the second; an open under 30,496 stands the structure down.
Stop
30,668 — outside Monday's low 30,619, the daily EMA-14 30,624 and the two fast 30-minute averages at 30,654–30,663. No open gap sits between entry and stop.

~36% to 30,542 · ~28% to 30,496 · ~16% to flat (30,391). Conditional on the holding close after a 30,624 print; reward-to-risk about 0.4:1 on the first target from 30,576 against the 92-point stop, 0.9:1 on the second, 2.0:1 on the flat.
Why
30,583 has been published for ten sessions as the line whose daily close makes the rollover path modal. A holding half-hour close under it, after a trade back to the daily EMA-14, is the first intraday evidence toward that close, with the 30-minute band floor (30,542), the weekly EMA-5 (30,496) and the 20-day (30,391) beneath. The odds are low for three reasons: Thursday's flush to 30,556 was bought back 170 points the same afternoon; first-shelf sell-stops are the costliest structure type in the thirty-day record; and Monday's version closed its trigger bar within five points of its exhaustion limit and could not be scored.

NDX — the rollover line on a close, re-timed around CPI: sell after a daily close under 30,583 with the count lower on the day, eighth size (unconventional)
Entry
USTECH CFD, short 0.125% (eighth size) after the first DAILY close under 30,583 on which the Nasdaq-100 bullish percent also closes lower than the prior session (under 42.57 on Tuesday's print). The count is an end-of-day print read from the next capture, so the entry is the following session's first 30-minute close after 10:00 New York that is still under 30,583. Chase cap: no fill if that close is under 30,496 (the weekly EMA-5). Gap clause: a next-session cash open over 30,583 stands the structure down for the day. Calendar clause, amended: an arming on Tuesday's close enters on Wednesday from the 10:30 bar — two hours after the CPI release, so the position is opened after the number and not carried through it. Wednesday's and Thursday's closes can also arm it.
Stop
30,700 — outside the daily EMA-14 30,624, the hourly 100-average 30,691 and the 30-minute EMA-14 30,693: beyond the shelf the break would leave behind, not inside it.

Win prob.
~34% to 30,391 · ~26% to 29,933 · ~18% to flat (29,823). Conditional on the daily close under 30,583 with the count lower and a next-session fill inside the cap; reward-to-risk about 1.2:1 on the first target from 30,560 against the 140-point stop, 4.5:1 on the second, 5.3:1 on the flat.
Why
Unconventional — a daily-close trigger confirmed by a breadth print and entered a session late. It is carried a third issue with its line unchanged, and the close is now 82 points over that line instead of 300. Its second half moved the other way: the count rose 2.97 on a day the index fell, so Monday could not have armed it even on price. The odds are low because both halves must print on one close and the fill comes a session after the signal.

SPX — the third look at the breakout line: sell a rejection close back under 7,817 after a print inside 7,817–7,836
Entry
US500 CFD, short 0.25% at 7,817–7,836 — the old August high 7,816.70 up to the hourly band top 7,836, with the 30-minute band top 7,818 and Monday's high 7,821.67 inside — only on a 30-minute rejection close back under 7,817 after a print inside the zone made after 10:00 New York. Half size by the rate rule. The bank rung is suspended for the session: four banks report before the open, and the rung is not carried into its own binary. A 30-minute close over 7,836 before the rejection voids the day. Gap clause: a cash open inside or over the zone is not chased; the Monday-evening board (7,812) is five points under it.
Stop

Why
The S&P has traded over 7,817 on two consecutive sessions — 7,820.57 on Friday, 7,821.67 on Monday — and closed under it both times. Monday's version met its trigger on the chart read and its first target printed; no gain is claimed for it, but it is this structure type's first clean pattern of the month and the odds are two points higher for it. They stay under half because the S&P's breadth rose a third session, the NYSE oscillator closed over zero a second day, and a good morning from the banks would carry the index's largest non-technology weight through the line.

Exhaustion rule, with the new buffer: not armed if the trigger bar closes more than 31 points under the session's open (60% of Friday's 55-point true range, the wider of the last two, less two points for the chart's resolution). Void on a next-bar close back over 7,797. Gap clause: a cash open under 7,791 fills on the first post-10:00 close that holds under it after a 7,797 print, at half size, first target rolled to the second; an open under 7,773 stands the structure down.
Stop

Why
Monday's whole range was 25 points and it held the daily EMA-5 by six. A holding close under that average and under Monday's low hands back Friday's advance, with the hourly 50-average (7,782), the 30-minute 100-average (7,773) and the daily EMA-14 with the hourly band floor (7,750) beneath. VIX CFD, long 0.25% on the first 30-minute close after 10:00 New York back over 15.53 — Monday's high, with the 50-day 15.49, the daily 10-average 15.52 and the 20-day 15.56 within seven cents of it — and with the S&P under 7,791 (its daily EMA-5) on the same bar. Trigger-distance cap: no entry if that qualifying close is over 15.85 (the hourly band top); the structure then waits for a pullback close between 15.53 and 15.85 or stands down. No add. Gap clause, restated in full after Monday: a cash open over 15.53 fills at half size on the first post-10:00 close that holds over it inside the cap and with the S&P under 7,791 on that same bar, first target rolled to the second.

Why
The spot rose 2.5% on Monday against a flat S&P and closed back on its daily EMA-5. Four daily averages are stacked between 15.41 and 15.56, and Monday's high stopped inside them. A close over that stack with the S&P under its own fast average is the first print that says the calm ahead of CPI is being questioned. It is a hedge against the set's other reads, not a view. The odds are low because the front future's premium narrowed from 14.8% to 10.5% — the future came down to the spot — and the last three versions did not trigger or lost.

Entry
USTECH CFD short against US500 CFD long, equal notional on each leg, 0.125% of book at risk on the pair (eighth size), entered on the first 30-minute close after 10:00 New York on which the ratio of the two indices is back under 3.933 (its 30-minute EMA-14) after a print at or over 3.937 (its 30-minute 20-average) in the same session — a bounce in the ratio that fails. No entry if the ratio has traded over 3.950 that session (its daily EMA-14). The Nasdaq-100 price floor that kept the pair out on Friday and Monday is removed: the trigger is the relationship, read on the 30-minute ratio chart to three decimals. Gap clause: none. The S&P leg is a hedge leg inside a dollar-neutral spread, not an outright long; if the operator's rule against long index structures is read to cover spread legs, this structure is struck and the alternate named with the set takes its slot.
Stop
A ratio of 3.955 — over the ratio's daily EMA-14 (3.950) and Friday's closing ratio, about 0.6% against the pair. The stop is managed on the pair's net mark, never on one leg.

Why
Unconventional — a relative-value structure in a set of outright shorts, and still a flagged exception to the pair's 25 September retirement. Its read has been right two sessions running and the book has not owned it: the ratio went from 3.96 to 3.93, through the first target, while a price clause kept the pair unentered. That is a design miss, and the design is changed rather than the read. Monday extended the evidence: the Dow rose 0.38%, the S&P was flat and the Nasdaq-100 fell 0.71%, with energy and staples leading and technology down 1.25%. The odds are two points lower than Monday's because a move that has run 0.7% in two sessions is later, and the 30-minute ratio RSI is 31.

XAUUSD CFD, short 0.125% (eighth size) at the daily close on the first daily close under 4,155 — Monday's low 4,154.79, with the 10-day average 4,157 on it — with the ten-year closing over 5.00 the same day (daily-close basis; no 30-minute gold record in the capture). Calendar clause: Tuesday's close cannot trigger it, because a fill then would be carried through CPI; Wednesday's or Thursday's close can. Chase cap: no fill if that close is under 4,100. Why
Monday's bar traded to 4,217.30 — through Friday's high and through the 4,208 line Monday's issue used for a long — and closed near 4,172, back under its daily EMA-14. The daily-close rule kept the book out of that long; a failed reclaim is the pattern the short side keys to. The rate licence is on, with the ten-year over five for thirteen closes, and the dollar index closed at 102.56, a new high for the leg. Market Path

Next 24 hours

The base case is a session inside 30,532–30,797 with a close between 30,580 and 30,750 — the no-lean range, centred on Monday's close and 265 points wide, the wider of the last two true ranges. The S&P maps to 7,780–7,835 with a close of 7,789–7,825; the VIX to 14.5–16.0, the ten-year to 5.16–5.34 and the December Brent settle to 103–110. The reasoning runs in four steps. Both intraday momentum readings on the Nasdaq-100 are near 39 and its 30-minute stochastic is at 9, so a bounce is the ordinary first move. The averages it lost sit 115 to 151 points overhead, at 30,779–30,816. The rollover line sits 82 beneath, with Thursday's low and two band floors just under it. And the evening board is flat, with bank results and the first bond close since Friday still to come. A daily S&P close over 7,817 moves two points to the range path; a daily Nasdaq-100 close under 30,583 makes the rollover path modal; a ten-year close over 5.25 returns four to the shock path.

One week

The base case is 30,391–30,947 inside 29,933–31,164. This is the week the bond market votes on the repair. The broad market has its confirmation and no repair count yet; the bond market's two closes under 5.25 have not been tested since Friday and meet a CPI whose headline is expected two tenths higher. Bank of America and Morgan Stanley report on Wednesday; producer prices and retail sales follow on Thursday. Weight moves to the range path on closes over 7,817 or 31,117, or on an NYSE advance-decline close over +800; to the rollover path on a close under 30,583; to the shock path on a ten-year close over 5.25, a VIX close over 17.22, a Brent settle at 109.45 or an NYSE Composite close under 23,352.

One month

October holds a higher high than June on a lower monthly momentum reading, eight sessions in, and the gap between the two readings is widening. The central range is 29,823–31,361 into late October. Third-quarter profit growth is expected near 30%, the Fed meets on the 27th–28th, Israel votes on the 27th and the month closes on the 30th. The upside path needs five conditions and none is met: a signed Hormuz date, two Brent settles under 101, high-yield over 95, the ten-year under 4.90 and the count over 50.

Six months and year-end

Six months out the central case is a 27,000–31,600 range with downward drift while the monthly divergence resolves; the top of that range is unchanged for a third issue. A Hormuz reopening remains the largest upside input. The largest downside input is a return to strikes; the President tied that to 3 November last week and loosened the date on Monday without removing the risk. To year-end the conditional base case stays 27,500–29,800 for the Nasdaq-100 and 7,100–7,700 for the S&P. The index is 865 points over the top of that band, from 1,083 on Monday's issue, and the S&P 107 over its own. The band is a framework output conditional on the divergence holding, not a forecast; it is withdrawn if October closes over 31,117 with the monthly RSI over 77.88.

Sources and Data Discipline

Monday's closes and sector moves are from TheStreet and The Motley Fool, with the memory-chip driver and stock moves from Yahoo Finance; the Brent and WTI settles and the supply picture from Bloomberg via Rigzone, the weekend's strikes and the energy truce from Reuters via Yahoo and the flow figures from Trading Economics; Monday's statements from Tehran and the President from Iran International; the CPI consensus from FinancialJuice and the bank-earnings schedule from RiskStock. Every chart value is from Core_Charts_20261013.pdf, Gen 3, 55 of 55 core charts resolved by manifest label, captured 06:21 Singapore Tuesday; live prices from the 06:44 capture. Seven flags. The Treasury-yield and credit-spread charts still show Friday's bars because the bond market was closed; those values are carried and the evening board's 5.237% is indicative, not a close. The Brent settle rests on one wire; the chart's 106.06 and the board's 106.12 are later prints, and one aggregator page still carried a line from Monday's Asian session describing Brent as falling toward 103. Casualties at Riyadh's airport are reported as 12, 13 and at least 14; the range is given. Friday's Gulf of Mexico shut-in is now reported as about 72% against the 63% used on Monday; neither is restated. The Nasdaq-100 bullish percent printed 42.57 after 39.60 and 38.00, so the series' base is not stable; it is logged, not adjusted. Intraday sequences and both chart-read triggers are taken from 30-minute images that resolve about five Nasdaq-100 points and under one S&P point, not from tick data. Rate-hike odds were not re-sourced and no figure is quoted. The sentiment surveys are last week's prints, carried. Carried values are not presented as Monday prints.

The Bottom Line

What repaired: the NYSE oscillator closed over zero a second day, the NYSE summation rose again, and the Nasdaq-100's count rose while the index fell. What did not: the index lost both fast daily averages and sits 82 points over its rollover line, the S&P closed under 7,817 after trading through it again, Brent settled at 106.65 and nothing was signed. The bond market did not trade, so the rate line is untested. No line printed and the weights are unchanged at 34, 30, 28 and 8. Two chart-read gains are not claimed and one possible loss is. No outright long is issued. The tactical lines are 30,779–30,816 above and 30,583 below; for the S&P, 7,817–7,836 and 7,791. The next decision points are this morning's bank results, today's ten-year close against 5.25 and Wednesday's CPI.
