LUBATIX TRADER DIGESTWEDNESDAY · 28 OCTOBER 2026 · TUESDAY US CLOSE · THE RETIREMENT LINE PRINTED · THE COUNT CROSSED 50 · THE STRUCTURAL STOPPED · FOMC DAY

The Nasdaq-100 Rallied 1.29% to 29,651.44 Through the Structural's Stop, the Whole of Thursday's Gap and the Retirement Line, and the Bullish-Percent Count Crossed 50 for the First Time in Thirty-Eight Sessions: the Rollover Read Is Retired, Its Only Fill Is Scored at a Loss, the S&P 500 Closed Over Its 50-Day at 7,722.60, the VIX Closed 17.52 Under Its 200-Day, the Ten-Year Closed 5.00 on the Line Again, Brent Settled $113.88 — and the Fed Decides Today

Tuesday did in its second bar what Monday had stopped sixteen points short of. The Nasdaq-100 opened just under the structural's stop, ran through it, through every point of the gap it had been fading, and closed 357 points over the line the rollover read was written on — with eight net buy signals taking the count over 50 on the same print. The read is retired, its licence has lapsed, and the one structure it ever filled is closed at the full stated risk. The matrix moves four points on arithmetic, and the shape it leaves — the shock path modal alone with the VIX under 18 — is accounting, not opinion; the framework scores what printed, says what did not, and keeps its book flat into the Fed.

Executive Summary

Overnight in brief

The Nasdaq-100 rose 1.29% to 29,651.44 on Tuesday and retired the rollover read; the S&P 500 rose 0.60% to 7,722.60 and the VIX closed 17.52. The index opened 2.75 points over Monday's high, filled its own gap in the opening bar, ran through the structural short's stop at 29,420 [the level the framework had placed over Monday's high] and the whole of the 22 October gap by midday, printed 29,719.63 and closed over its 69-day, 100-day and 20-week averages, 155 under its 50-day; the bullish-percent count [the share of members on point-and-figure buy signals] jumped 7.92 to 53.47, its first close over 50 since 5 September. The semiconductor index rose 3.6% with all thirty members up, the Dow was flat, energy fell 2% and Boeing 11%; consumer confidence printed 91.7 against 80.4 expected; the ten-year closed 5.00% on the chart, a fourth session at or under the line; December Brent settled $113.88, down 1.67%, and WTI settled under $100 as Iran's security chief briefed the Supreme Leader on the four-country talks and the Houthis claimed a strike on Ras Tanura. At 07:32 Singapore Wednesday (19:32 New York Tuesday, the post-close board, from a chat-attached watchlist) the Nasdaq-100 CFD was 29,663.7, the S&P CFD 7,725.9, the VIX future 18.98, gold 4,059.80 and the January Brent quote 109.77; the Fed decides at 14:00 New York.

Framework signal

The framework signals the rollover read retired and the shock path modal alone at 36% on inherited points, with no structural short licensed while the Nasdaq-100 count holds over 50 and the index holds over 29,413 [the daily EMA-5]; a daily close under 29,413 with the count back under 50 re-instates the read and returns four points to it; a daily S&P close over 7,730 moves two points to the range path; a ten-year close back over 5.00, a 120 December settle or a spread over 3.50 adds two each to the shock path; nothing new is initiated after 13:00 New York today and everything in the book is flat by 13:30 before the decision.
Called-shot note: Monday's "the day is decided at 16:00 against 29,294 — over it with the count over 40, the read retires and the blend is closed" printed, by 357 points; the blend was closed by its stop first, at a loss of about 325 points on an eighth — claimed. "A second test of a cluster that held once usually goes through or fails inside a session" — it went through in the second bar. Tuesday's map missed both indices to the upside, the first range miss since the break. The vol fade and the gold long each refused a winning day by their own clauses; both clauses are kept. What Tuesday Changed

The second test went through in the second bar, and the read it was testing is retired. The Nasdaq-100 opened at 29,407.19 — 134 points over Monday's close and 2.75 over Monday's high, a daily gap so small it is logged for the record and was filled in the opening bar at the day's low, 29,340.54. The second bar ran through the structural's stop at 29,420, placed over the four-line cluster that had stopped Monday's rally; by midday the index had traded through every point of the 22 October gap (29,412–29,594) and printed 29,719.63, 42 points into the floor of the 18 August chip gap. It held 29,620–29,700 into the close. At 29,651.44, up 1.29%, the index is 357 over the retirement line at 29,294 — the daily EMA-5 as read on Monday, the line the rollover read has been written on since 9 October — and that line needed only the count over 40 to retire the read; the count printed 53.47. The close is over the 69-day (29,586), the 100-day (29,551) and the 20-week (29,542), all re-taken in one session; 2.52 under the weekly EMA-5 at 29,654; 3.64 over the floor of the 21 September oil gap, which now holds the index from below; 155 under the 50-day at 29,807; an eleventh consecutive close under 30,583. The daily stochastic crossed up from under 20 for the first time since 9 October.

The count crossed 50 on the same close, and the licence went with the read. Eight Nasdaq-100 members turned their point-and-figure columns to a buy — the largest one-day add of the leg — and the bullish-percent count printed 53.47, its first close over 50 since 5 September after thirty-seven sessions under. The structural short's licence was the count under 50; the read's retirement was the price line; both ended on one print, and the structure they governed was already stopped by then. The S&P's count printed 53.00, a third consecutive close over 50, so the broad tier stays exited and no S&P short is issued; 61.6% of S&P members closed over their 50-day, the thrust-confirm print a third time in four sessions; 55.45% of Nasdaq-100 members closed over theirs while the index itself is still 155 under its own. The Nasdaq oscillator rose 18 points to +21.94 — over +20 for the first time since the leg began, which is the second half of the condition that lifts the halving rule for longs; the first half, three consecutive summation rises, stands at two. The NYSE oscillator printed +29.04, the high of the leg; its summation rose a ninth time.

The S&P closed over its 50-day for the first time since the break — and seven points under its 20-day. The S&P 500 opened on the 50-day at 7,699.47, printed 7,736.24 — 6.5 points through the 20-day at 7,729.72, with the 30-minute 200-average and the hourly 100-average on it — and closed 7,722.60, up 0.60%: 25.6 over the 50-day at 7,697.01, the first close over it since 21 October, and 7.12 under the 20-day that moves two points from the shock path to the range path. The 22 October gap at 7,703–7,709 was filled on the opening bar, the 7 August gap at the high; the close sits inside the 18 August band. Technology led; the Dow added 16 points; the Russell 2000 rose 1.16%; energy fell 2% with the refiners down six to eight percent on Brent's fall; Boeing fell 11%, its worst day since April 2025, on a delivery cut; Visa, Robinhood, Seagate and NXP all fell after the close on in-line guidance. Nine sessions, nine splits — this one the chips' way up, a second day, with the broad market up less and the Dow not at all.

The VIX closed under 18 and under its 200-day, and the future paid a dollar and a half over it. The spot opened 18.43, printed 18.55 in the first hour and was sold through the afternoon — through the 200-day at 18.22, the daily EMA-5, the 10-day, the 22 October spike gap at 17.58–17.71 (filled at 17.43) and the 17.45 line itself, printed under and not closed under — to 17.52, down 4.73%. Under 18 the spot has exited the 18–21 gap it held for three closes; under the 200-day it has made its first close there since the break; seven cents over 17.45 it keeps the shock path's two volatility points, because the line is a daily close and the oil half of the same rule (a settle under 109.45) is $4.43 away besides. The front future on the post-close board is 18.98 — a $1.46 contango, wider than Monday's 79 cents: the cash market has stopped paying for the next 48 hours into a decision it rates a near-certain hold, and the futures market pays for the month after it. The term structure did not invert for a second day; the VIX of the VIX closed 65 cents over its 200-day.

The ten-year stopped on 5.00 to the hundredth again, and the front end disagreed with itself. The ten-year closed 5.00% on the chart and 4.992% on the wire, up a basis point on the chart — a fourth consecutive close at or under the line and the second at it in three sessions. The mirror line written on Friday — a close back over 5.00 returns two points to the shock path — did not print: at the line is not over it, and the framework says so rather than rounding. The two-year printed 4.74% on the chart (down one) and 4.735% on the wire (up 2.6) — the two stamps disagree in sign, and both are logged; the thirty-year rose a basis point to 5.31%. Consumer confidence printed 91.7 against 80.4 expected, the largest beat of the year, with September revised up; durable goods rose 1.8%; new home sales beat. The dollar closed 102.35, over the 102.06 line the old gold add-rung was keyed to, for the first time since that gate was written. The futures market prices a December hike at 83% and a hold today as near-certain.

What Tuesday Did Not Change

Oil and the strait. December Brent settled $113.88, down $1.93, a fourteenth settlement over 101 and $6.12 from the 120 line that is R14's fourth step — equity to 10% — and two points to the shock path, with three December settlements left before Friday's expiry; WTI settled $99.90, under 100 for the first time of the leg, and the December–January spread narrowed to about $4.10 from $5.60, a front end lightening into the roll. The shock path's two oil points were given back on consecutive settles under 109.45 and are not re-booked by settles over it. Iran's security council chief, Mohsen Rezaei, met the Supreme Leader on Tuesday, a day after the Saudi, Turkish and Pakistani delegations; state media said the four had agreed to keep talking about peace and security cooperation, and Reuters' summary was that an agreement to end the war remains elusive. The Houthis said they had struck Saudi Arabia's Ras Tanura refinery with a ballistic missile and called Egypt's authorisation of air-defence support for Riyadh a declaration of war; neither the strike nor its damage was confirmed. CNN reported on Monday that Netanyahu had pushed for a joint strike on Iran before Israel's election and that Washington had asked Israel to wait until it was ready — forces in theatre could begin major operations within 96 hours of an order. Israel voted on Tuesday; the exit polls gave the anti-Netanyahu bloc a lead in two of three and no bloc a clear majority, and the shekel rose 1.2%. UBS raised its year-end Brent view to $110 from $100. The Washington Institute's count stands: October the worst month on record for attacks on commercial shipping in and around the strait; the IMF's port tracker counted four transits on 18 October against 85 a day before the crisis. Nothing was signed; a briefing is not a signature; outright index longs stay struck. The watchlist's Brent quote is the January contract at 109.77 — a roll, not a settle.

Rates and the Fed. Escalation-3 stays withdrawn a thirteenth session, 25 basis points from the 5.25 line that re-books it; the 4.94 first-withdrawal line is six basis points under the close. The Fed decides at 14:00 New York today and the chair speaks at 14:30; by the rule written for this plan, nothing new is initiated after 13:00 and everything in the book is flat by 13:30. There is no 08:30 binary this morning. Alphabet, Microsoft and Amazon report after the close — three prints on the AI capex trade that led the tape for two days; PCE and Intel on Thursday; Exxon, the October monthly close and the December Brent expiry on Friday; the January roll on Monday; the midterms on Tuesday. The afternoon session from 14:00 to 16:00 is read, not traded: a VIX print over 18.86 arms Thursday's fade, an S&P close over 7,730 moves two points, a Nasdaq-100 close under 29,413 with the count under 50 re-instates the read, a ten-year close over 5.00 re-opens the gold short's gate.

Credit. The high-yield ETF closed 93.21 on a weekly render, up 69 cents on the week and about 55 on the day — its largest rise of the leg — a thirty-fourth close under 95 and 1.79 from the line that, with the count over 50, gives the bull path its first two points. The spread series posted Monday's print at 3.30, eight basis points narrower, 0.20 from the 3.50 line that adds two to the shock path; the investment-grade spread widened to 1.13 on the same print while high-yield narrowed — the two grades disagree, one pricing the Fed and one pricing the tape, and the framework scores the high-yield one. Tuesday's print posts today.

The monthly divergence. October's running bar holds a higher high than June on a monthly RSI of 67.97 against 77.88 — the gap narrowed to 9.91 from 11.62 on a second rally day, which is what a 2.4% two-day move does to a monthly reading and is said as such — and the bar sits 757 points under September's close, down 2.49% on the month with three sessions left, 287 over its monthly EMA-5. The one-month central range, 28,564–30,294, held a seventh session, the close 1,087 over its floor and 643 under its top. The year-end band, 27,500–29,800, has the Nasdaq-100 inside it by 149; the review trigger — a second consecutive close over 29,800 with the count over 50 — has its count half printed for the first time and its price half 149 points away. The S&P is 23 over the top of its own band. The verdict is the monthly close on Friday: a close over 31,117 with the monthly RSI over 77.88 invalidates, and it is 1,466 points and 9.91 RSI points away.

The Four Paths — Reweighted

C · Structural rollover

B · Range / rotation

One line printed, and it was the one the whole read was written on. The retirement rule, unchanged since 9 October, says the rollover path gives up four points — two to the shock path, two to the range path — on a daily close over the daily EMA-5 as read with the count over 40. The close was 357 over the line and the count 13 over the threshold. Everything else sat where it was: 7,722.60 under 7,730 (by 7, printed through to 7,736); 5.00 at the line (the mirror needs over); 17.52 over 17.45 (by seven cents, the low under it, the settle over 109.45 besides); 113.88 under 120; 3.30 under 3.50, and narrower; the advance-decline line +433, not +800; the Composite 760 over its 200-day. The matrix is D 36 / C 30 / B 26 / A 8, from 34 / 34 / 24 / 8.

Path D rises 2 to 36% and is modal alone — on inherited points. The two points are the rollover path's by the retirement rule, not the shock path's by evidence, and it is said so: none of D's three inputs moved a written line. The ten-year stopped at 5.00 a fourth day at or under; Brent settled $6.12 from the step with three prints left and WTI under 100; the spread narrowed. What D keeps: a fourteenth settle over 101 at a near-five-month high; a 96-hour readiness and a post-election window on both calendars; the Houthis at Ras Tanura and a declaration of war aimed at Cairo; a reserve at a 1982 low; the dollar over 102.06. What the tape says against it: the VIX under 18, the chips up 3.6%, the count over 50. D takes two on a ten-year close back over 5.00, two on a 120 December settle through Friday, two on a spread over 3.50, two on a VIX daily close over 22.31, four on a ten-year close over 5.25 and two on a Composite close under 23,450; it gives two to the range path on a daily S&P close over 7,730 and two on a VIX daily close under 17.45 with the settle under 109.45.

Path C falls 4 to 30% — the read retired, its instrument stopped. The rollover read has now been retired twice in a week and re-instated once between; its only fill of the leg is scored at a loss. What C keeps: ten sessions of the two halves splitting with the leaders at no new highs (one net new low among the hundred on a +1.3% day); the members' repair line not approached (the advance-decline percent's high was 24.75 against a +30 line); a month down 2.5% on a monthly reading 9.91 under June's; an eleventh close under 30,583; an index 155 under its 50-day. C re-instates — four points back, the structural re-licensed at a quarter — on a daily close under the fresh EMA-5 at 29,413 with the count back under 50; without the count, the price half is logged. No structural is issued today.

Path B rises 2 to 26% — on the retirement rule, while its own lines did not print a fourth time. The range path's tape was the strongest of the leg again: the count over 50 on both indices, the Nasdaq oscillator over +20, the NYSE oscillator at the high of the leg, the S&P over its 50-day. And its two written lines did not print: the 20-day was printed through by 6.5 and closed 7 under; the third +800 close was not approached. The transports pierced the 20,550 flag by fifty points and closed 2.48 under it. The framework moves weight on written lines and not on tape, so B's two points are C's and the honest statement is the same as Monday's: the range path's weight is lower than its tape, and the tape has now printed on the one breadth series the framework scores. B takes two from D on a daily S&P close over 7,730; two from C on a third +800 close; gives two back to C on the re-instatement.

Path A holds at 8% — with its gate half-printed for the first time. The twin gate is the count over 50 and high-yield over 95 verified; the count printed on Tuesday and high-yield is 1.79 away after its largest day of the leg. A takes two from C on the credit half; the year-end band's review trigger has the same count half printed and needs two closes over 29,800, the first 149 away. "Keep talking" is not a signature.

The Honest Ledger

The structural was stopped at 29,420 on the second bar, and the loss is claimed in full. Option 01, filled at about 29,095 on Friday's ninth arm, was 138 onside at Friday's close, 178 against at Monday's, and stopped on Tuesday's 10:00 bar at the level written on Friday and left unchanged on Monday — about 325 points against on an eighth, the whole of the stated risk. The open at 29,407.19 was 12.81 under the stop, so the open-over-the-stop clause did not fire; the second bar ran through it and the index never came back. All three of the structure's other exits — the retirement line on the close, the count over 50, the 13:30 clock — would have printed by the bell; the stop printed first, which is what a stop is for. Monday's issue called a stop that survives by sixteen points on a 447-point day luck in the level's favour; Tuesday the level was the exit. The structural is dead. A count close back under 50 re-licenses an arm at a quarter of the old size; nothing is issued today.

The gap fade was armed on the open and never got its rejection; its void line did its job. Option 02 needed a post-10:30 print inside 29,405–29,594 or an open inside it, and a rejection close back under 29,405. The open at 29,407.19 was 2.19 over the zone's floor, so the open-as-print clause counted it; no 30-minute close back under 29,405 followed (the post-10:30 low on the image is about 29,540), and a close over 29,660 before the rejection voided the day by the structure's own rule. No fill, no cost. A fade that would have been stopped inside two hours was kept out by the line written for that purpose; the zone is retired with the gap it was keyed to.

The vol fade would have paid a second time, and its qualifier refused it a second time. Option 06 needed a print over 18.86 — post-10:30 or on the open — and a 30-minute close back under 18.20. The open was 18.43 and the day's high 18.55: the spot was never over 18.86, so the clause written on Monday for the opening-bar case had nothing to count, and the close under 18.20 that printed in the afternoon was not a fill. The first target at 17.79 and the second at 17.71 both printed. A fill at about 18.15 carried to the close would have been about +0.63 at a quarter; it is not claimed. This is the second issue in a row in which the qualifier kept the fade out of a winning day, and it is kept anyway: without it the fade would sell every down day, and a structure that sells every down day into a $113 settle is the one the framework does not write. From this issue the fade is written on the one print the box forbids trading — the decision's own spike — and trades Thursday.

The gold long got both its gates on its last issue, and its chase cap refused the fill by eleven points. Option 07 needed a daily close over 4,021 with the ten-year at or under 5.00 the same day. Gold closed 4,061.37, forty over the trigger; the ten-year closed 5.00 on the chart and 4.992 on the wire. Both halves printed for the first time in four issues — and the close was eleven points over the 4,050 chase cap, the clause that stops the structure buying a +1.1% day at its high. Not filled, by rule. The live quote at 07:32 Singapore is 4,059.80, 1.6 under the close: there is nothing to claim either way, and the cap's refusal cost nothing on the night. The inversion is retired on its fourth issue as written — refused three times by the gate and once by its own cap — and the cap is kept, re-keyed to the 20-day, in the continuation long that replaces it.

The rest did not trigger. Option 03's trigger at 29,012 was 329 under the day's low. Option 04, the rung at the retirement line, saw an open 77 over its zone and a low 10 over it — no print inside, no fill. Option 05, the doorway, got its pullback print (17.43) and never its reclaim of 18.86 (the high, 18.55, was in the first hour). Option 08's gold trigger was 13 points under the low and its rate gate did not print.

Tuesday's map: three of five, with both indices missed to the upside. The Nasdaq-100 closed 29,651.44 against a range of 29,050–29,497 — 154 over the top, the first range miss since the break on 22 October, with the projected close band missed by 244 and the high 223 over the top; the S&P closed 7,722.60 against 7,638–7,716, 6.6 over, the high 20 over; the VIX 17.52 inside 16.5–20.2; the ten-year 5.00 inside 4.87–5.11; Brent 113.88 inside 111–121. Two same-side misses in one session are not three consecutive sessions, which is what the widening rule is written on; the width does not change, and the range for today is Monday's 447 re-centred on Tuesday's close.

Calls that resolved. "The day is decided at 16:00 against 29,294 — over it with the count over 40, the rollover read retires and the blend is closed" — printed, by 357 and 13 count points; the blend was closed by its stop before the bell. "It will print at the open" — it did, at 29,407. "A second test of a cluster that held once usually goes through or fails inside a session" — it went through in the second bar. "The first read is the 10:30 bar" — it read about 29,540, over the stop, and the day was decided by it. "Tuesday's spread print against 3.50" — it narrowed to 3.30. "The range path's weight is lower than its tape" — the tape printed on the count on Tuesday, and the two points the range path received were the rollover path's by rule; the statement stands and is repeated.

Wednesday execution rule. There is no 08:30 binary; the decision is at 14:00 and the chair speaks at 14:30. The box: every tactical is live from the 10:30 bar and dead at 13:30 whatever it is doing; nothing new is initiated after 13:00; nothing at all is held through the decision. Nothing is read off the opening bar; the first qualifying 30-minute close is the 10:30 bar, with the standing amendments: a cash open through a qualifier line counts as the print for the fade (29,807–29,979), the doorway (an open under 17.45) and the pair (a ratio open over 3.85), so the opening bar can arm a structure even though it cannot fill one. The board opens twelve points over the close, 143 under the fade zone and 324 over the sell-stop. One tactical short per index: the fade and the sell-stop under 29,340 are one-cancels-other; the re-instatement sell-stop under 29,413 is Thursday's and is not armed today even if the line prints before 13:00. The pair is not an index short for that rule and may run beside one of them. One vol structure at a time: the doorway is today's and the post-decision fade is Thursday's — the 14:00–16:00 session is read for the fade's print and not traded. No S&P structure; no structural; no outright index long. Gold is judged at Thursday's daily close with the ten-year's close on the same day: over 4,095 with the ten-year at or under 5.00 is the long (a close over 4,125 is not bought); under 3,989 with the ten-year over 5.00 is the short; never both. The day is decided at 16:00 against 29,413 — under it with the count under 50, the rollover read returns with four points; against 29,807 — over it with the count over 50, the year-end band review has its first close; and against 7,730 and 5.00, which move two points each the way they close.
Key moving averages & structure — NDX and SPX ladders

All averages from the 27-Oct chart set (Core_Charts_20261028, Gen 3) — fresh, none carried. Tuesday's open, high, low and close are live prints; the post-close board is the 07:32 SGT chat-attached watchlist (no live JSON this session), the CFD series. Weekly figures are a running bar of two sessions; monthly and quarterly figures are running bars of nineteen sessions; the quarterly EMA-5 shown for the R3 band is the Q3 final. Intraday averages must be re-read from the next capture.

Step 9 — Trade Structures

Leveraged retail sizing. This plan does not prescribe position size in currency. The percentages are book-risk allocations: a "0.25%" structure risks a quarter of a percent of book equity between entry and stop, and a leveraged CFD account at up to 200× can express that with a fraction of margin. The framework's tactical cap is 20%: Brent has settled over 101 fourteen times. With the ten-year's last thirteen closes under 5.25, tactical shorts are half size, and that half is what "0.25% stated" means. The leg-3 regime is off, so the cover line for a filled tactical short is a 30-minute close over 19. Both tiers have exited — the Nasdaq-100 count over 50, the S&P count over 50 three times — so no structural short and no S&P short is issued at any size; the index slots are tactical, one short per index, and the structural is dead until a count close back under 50 re-licenses an arm at a quarter. The halving rule applies to any long and is one summation rise from lifting. The gap-through and open-as-print clauses stand. The gold bracket is a sixteenth each side and is judged at Thursday's close first. Everything is under the FOMC box: nothing is entered before the 10:30 bar, nothing new is initiated after 13:00, and nothing at all is held past 13:30 today; Thursday's structures are armed from Thursday's 10:30 bar on Wednesday's post-decision prints.

Win probability is the framework's estimate that the first target prints before the stop within one day to one week, conditional on the trigger firing; it is not a backtest. It is calibrated to the scenario weights, to how each structure type has behaved across the last thirty days of issues — sell-stops paid twice under their clauses on 17 October, were armed without filling four times, were refused correctly by the gap-through rule on Friday and were not reached on Monday or Tuesday; fades met their triggers three times this month for a scratch, an unclaimed gain and a claimed loss, were voided by rule four times including Tuesday, and missed Monday's rejection by seven points; the structural armed nine times, filled once, and was stopped on Tuesday at the full stated risk; the doorway long filled cleanly on 19 October and has been keyed over the day twice and under it once since; the vol fade has been refused by its own qualifier on both days it was issued, and would have paid on both; the gold bracket paid once (+112), was halved once by its own clause, refused three closes by its gate and one by its chase cap — and to the distance from the last price. All eight sit under 50% and carry the muted pill: lower-odds, higher-payoff structures, five of them inside a two-and-a-half-hour window. No outright index long is issued, because nothing is signed; no S&P short, because the broad tier exited; no structural, because its licence lapsed. Three structures are unconventional: Option 04 is a rotation pair that sells the chips' relative stretch with no index direction; Option 06 is the vol fade written on the decision's own spike and traded the morning after; Options 07 and 08 are the one-gate gold bracket.

USTECH CFD, short 0.25% (stated = applied; tactical shorts at half with the ten-year under 5.25) at 29,807–29,979 — the 50-day 29,806.90 and the 10-week 29,808.59 on the floor, the 23.6% retracement 29,907, the top of the 18-August chip gap #27 at 29,971.92 and the 30-minute 200-average 29,979.14 on the lid — only on a 30-minute rejection close back under 29,807 after a print inside the zone made from the 10:30 bar. A 30-minute close over 30,010 before the rejection voids the day. Gap clause: the board at 29,664 is 143 under the zone — armed, not chased; a cash open inside the zone counts as the print and the first post-10:30 close back under 29,807 fills; a cash open over 29,979 stands the fade down. Session gate: on Wednesday the structure is live from the 10:30 bar and dead at 13:30 by the FOMC box whatever it is doing; on Thursday it is live from the 10:30 bar and flat by 15:30.
Stop
30,010 — outside the 30-minute 200-average at 29,979, the gap #27 top at 29,972 and the 23.6% at 29,907, under the 20-day at 30,139: a failed test of the 50-day stack must stay under the chip gap's lid. Gap #27 (29,677–29,972) lies between entry and the first target, not between entry and stop — the stop sits 38 beyond the magnet's top.

~32% to 29,720 · ~24% to 29,651 · ~14% to flat (29,594). Conditional on the print inside the zone (post-10:30 or on the open) and the rejection close; reward-to-risk about 0.4:1 on the first target from 29,800 against the 210-point stop, 0.7:1 on the second, 1.0:1 on the flat.
Why
The 50-day and the 10-week sit two points apart 155 over the close, with the chip gap's top and the 30-minute 200-average 170 above them — the first stack the index has not yet tested since the break, and the one a post-FOMC relief bid would run into. The odds are 32% because fades in this leg have been right about the level four times and the zone is where the two-day rally's breadth (count +7.92, SOX +3.6% with all thirty up) would be asked to pay; they are under half because a tape that has crossed 50 on the count and retired the rollover read is a tape in which the first test of a stack usually goes through, as Tuesday's did.

NDX — the re-instatement sell-stop, Thursday only: sell a holding close under 29,413 (the fresh daily EMA-5 — the line that re-instates the rollover read with the count under 50; the old stop 29,420, the hourly 50-average 29,419 and the 30-minute 100-average 29,416 on it) after a 29,651 print
Entry
USTECH CFD, sell-stop 0.25% on Thursday's first 30-minute close from the 10:30 bar that holds under 29,413 — the daily EMA-5 as read (29,412.84), with the 30-minute 100-average 29,416, the hourly 50-average 29,419, the old structural stop 29,420 and the gap #49 floor 29,412 inside eight points of it: the cluster the index ran through on Tuesday's second bar, re-tested from above — and only after the cash session has traded at or over 29,651 (Tuesday's close; the 30-minute EMA-14 at 29,573 and the 100-day at 29,551 sit between, so the break is sold from the weekly stack and not from a gap). Exhaustion rule, with the buffer: not armed if the trigger bar closes more than 258 points under the session's open (60% of Monday's 447-point true range, less ten). Void on a next-bar close back over 29,651. The gap-through rule: a cash open under 29,413 fills at half size on the first post-10:30 close that holds under the session's open — the open becomes the trigger. Not issued for Wednesday: a holding close under 29,413 before 13:00 Wednesday is logged, not sold — the box holds.
Stop
29,560 — outside the 100-day at 29,551, the 20-week at 29,542 and the 60-minute 10-average at 29,517, under the weekly EMA-14 at 29,578 and the 69-day at 29,586: a re-instatement must stay under the weekly stack the index re-took on Tuesday. Gap #23 (29,373–29,453) and gap #52 (29,404–29,407) are filled; no open gap sits between entry and stop.

Why
The line that retired the read is behind the index and the line that re-instates it is the fresh EMA-5, 239 under the close; a Thursday holding close under it, with the hyperscaler prints and the decision behind the tape, is the rollover read asking for its second re-instatement of the month — and the count under 50 is what would license its instrument again at a quarter. The odds are 30% because sell-stops in this leg have paid on both breaks they were allowed to take and been refused correctly since; they are under half because the count's +7.92 on Tuesday is the largest add of the leg, because the halving rule is one summation rise from lifting, and because the index closed over three medium-term averages it had lost.

Entry
USTECH CFD, sell-stop 0.25% on the first 30-minute close from the 10:30 bar that holds under 29,340 — Tuesday's low (29,340.54), the bar that filled the three-point gap #52 (29,404–29,407) on the way to the day's high, with the hourly 20-average at 29,324 and the old retirement line at 29,294 beneath, the 30-minute 50-average at 29,251 and Monday's close at 29,273 under those — and only after the cash session has traded at or over 29,651 (Tuesday's close): a break of the day's low is sold from the day's close, not from a gap. Exhaustion rule, with the buffer: not armed if the trigger bar closes more than 258 points under the session's open. Void on a next-bar close back over 29,651. The gap-through rule: a cash open under 29,340 fills at half size on the first post-10:30 close that holds under the session's open. Why
Tuesday's low is the opening bar's and the index was bought from it through 380 points; a holding close under it un-does the day that retired the read and hands the index the cluster it ran through (29,404–29,420) from above. The odds are 28% — the lowest of the index set — because the trigger is 1.1% from the close on a tape that has bought every dip of the week, because the count has crossed 50, and because the structure can only fire on Wednesday morning inside a two-and-a-half-hour window before the box shuts it; it is listed because the two sell-stops that filled this month both paid, and because this is the line a post-decision reversal would have to print first.

NDX:SPX — the rotation pair: short the Nasdaq-100 against a notional-matched long S&P on a 30-minute close of the ratio back under 3.82 after a post-10:30 print over 3.85 (Tuesday's ratio high) — a bet that the ninth split's chip leg fades relative, not that the index falls; unconventional
Entry
USTECH CFD short 0.25% stated against a US500 CFD long of equal notional (the pair's risk is the ratio's move, not the market's — the long leg is a hedge leg and not the outright index long the protocol strikes; stated), on the first 30-minute close from the 10:30 bar at which the $NDX:$SPX ratio prints back under 3.82 after the session has printed over 3.85 — Tuesday's ratio high (O 3.81 H 3.85 L 3.80 C 3.84; +0.69% on the day, the second day of chip leadership inside a ratio month that is −3.39%). Gap clause: a cash open with the ratio over 3.85 counts as the print; a ratio open over 3.87 stands the pair down. Both legs are entered inside the same 30-minute bar and exited together; no leg is held alone. On Wednesday live from 10:30 and flat at 13:30; on Thursday live from 10:30 and flat by 15:30. Unconventional — a rotation pair: the two-day chip surge (the SOX +2.8% and +3.6%, all thirty up Tuesday) has pushed the ratio from 3.73 to 3.85 inside eight sessions while the broad market's count printed three exits — the pair sells the relative stretch and is agnostic on the FOMC's direction.
Stop
Ratio 3.87 — outside Tuesday's ratio high at 3.85 (the week's high on the daily ratio chart), under the October ratio high at 4.06 on the monthly bar: a pair that makes a new relative high for the week is wrong. In index points the stop is about 150 Nasdaq-100 points of relative move at a constant S&P; no gap sits in a ratio.

Why
Unconventional — a rotation pair. Nine sessions of the two halves splitting have gone the chips' way for two days on financing headlines (Oracle–Nvidia–Google, Meta's $25bn sale five times covered, Anthropic's prospectus) while the broad market's count printed its exit three times and the equal-weight lagged every day; the ratio's monthly bar is down 3.4% and its two-day bounce has reached the top of the week's range. The odds are 30% because the ratio mean-reverts inside a down month more often than it trends, and because the pair carries no FOMC direction; they are under half because hyperscaler earnings land Wednesday night and a beat extends the chip leg through any ratio line.

Entry
VIX CFD, long 0.25% on the first 30-minute close from the 10:30 bar back over 17.92 — the 30-minute 20-average, with the 60-minute 10-average at 17.90 and the 30-minute EMA-14 at 17.80 under it, the daily 10-average at 18.01 and the daily EMA-5 at 18.10 over it — after the session has printed under 17.45 (the fixed line; Tuesday's low 17.43 was one such print; the 30-minute band floor at 17.25 beneath) from the 10:30 bar: a pullback through the shock path's line and a close back through the fast stack. Taper: a qualifying close at or under 18.10 fills at full size; between 18.10 and 18.30 (the 30-minute 100-average) at half; over 18.30 the structure stands down until a pullback prints. No add. Gap clause: a cash open under 17.45 counts as the pullback print; a cash open over 18.30 stands the structure down until a close back under 18.10 prints. On Wednesday the long is live from 10:30 and FLAT AT 13:30 by the box — it is the morning's hedge, not the decision's; on Thursday live from 10:30, flat by 15:30. The future is 18.98 — a $1.46 contango: the futures market prices a drift back toward 19 that the doorway is written on.

Gap #51 (17.58–17.71) is filled; the magnet beneath the stop is the 30-minute 200-average, and the stop sits over it by design because the daily close under 17.45 with the settle under 109.45 is the D −2 line, not a VIX target.

Why
The spot closed under 18 for the first time since the 21-October break with the futures market paying $1.46 over it into a decision at 14:00 — the doorway buys the first pullback that holds the fixed line and reclaims the stack, as the only structure in the set that pays if the morning turns before the box. The odds fall to 26% because the structure has two and a half hours to fill and reach a target 30 cents away on Wednesday, because a VIX that has just lost its 200-day and its EMA-5 drifts more often than it spikes, and because the first target is the 200-day the spot was sold through on Tuesday; it is listed as the morning's hedge against the strait or the Israeli count going wrong before the Fed.

Entry
VIX CFD, short 0.25% on Thursday's first 30-minute close from the 10:30 bar that prints back under 18.22 — the 200-day, with the hourly 50-average at 18.21, the daily EMA-5 at 18.10 and the daily 10-average at 18.01 beneath, Tuesday's close at 17.52 and low at 17.43 under those — only after the spot has printed over 18.86 (Friday's low; the line the hourly 20-average at 18.49 and the 30-minute 50-average at 18.69 sit under) EITHER inside Wednesday's post-decision session (14:00–16:00 New York — the print the box forbids trading is still a print) OR on Thursday's cash open (the open-as-print clause). Nothing is sold on Wednesday after 13:00: the structure reads Wednesday's afternoon and trades Thursday's morning. Gap clause: a Thursday cash open under 18.22 is not chased (the structure needs the print over 18.86 first); a Thursday open over 19.84 (Monday's high) stands the fade down. No add. Flat by 15:30 Thursday regardless — a VIX short is not held overnight with a 96-hour readiness and an Israeli coalition count on the tape.

No logged VIX gap sits between entry and stop; gap #12's floor at 18.00 sits beneath the entry and is a target zone, not a magnet between entry and stop.

Why
Unconventional — the hedge inverted a third time, now written on the one print the box forbids trading: the decision's own spike. A hold at 14:00 with a hawkish December lean is the base case (83% priced), and the three FOMC afternoons of this leg each printed a VIX spike that was sold the next morning; the fade sells that pattern from Thursday's 10:30 bar only if Wednesday afternoon or Thursday's open puts the spot over 18.86 first. The odds are 30% because the shape has repeated and the futures market already prices a drift to 19; they are under a third because a decision that surprises prints 22.31 before it prints 18.22, and because a $113.88 settle with the Houthis at Ras Tanura is still the wrong backdrop to sell volatility into — the structure says so by its size and its clock.

Entry
XAUUSD CFD, long 0.0625% (a sixteenth — gold sits outside the index sizing regimes; the halving rule for longs is applied by analogy), on the daily close (no 30-minute gold record exists in the capture): the first daily close over 4,095 — the daily 10-average at 4,094.66, with the daily EMA-14 at 4,102.72 on it and the 20-day at 4,124.91 above — with the ten-year's daily close at or under 5.00 the same day, which would be a fifth consecutive close. Two gates, one close. The inversion that preceded this structure printed both gates on Tuesday for the first time in four issues and was refused by its own chase cap by eleven points — the cap did its job on a day gold closed on its fast average, and it is re-keyed here to the 20-day: a close over 4,125 is not bought. First eligible close: THURSDAY'S — nothing is initiated on Wednesday's own close by the FOMC box, and a Wednesday close over 4,095 with the gate shut is logged as the print that Thursday's close must hold. Gap clause: a next-session open back under 4,013 (the daily band floor) halves the sixteenth at the first hourly close. A ten-year daily close back over 5.00 closes the long the same day — that close is Option 08's trigger condition.

Why
Both halves of the gate printed on Tuesday for the first time — gold back inside its band on a +1.1% day with the ten-year at 5.00 — and the structure's own cap refused the chase; the continuation buys the next line up, the 10-day, only if the rate gate is still shut after the Fed. The odds are 30% because the daily stochastic has crossed up from 16 and the dollar's strength (102.35, over its band mid) did not stop Tuesday's bid; they are under a third because the weekly RSI is 41 and falling, because a hawkish hold is a stronger dollar on Thursday, and because a 30-point first target against a 115-point stop is a structure carried for its second target.

Entry
XAUUSD CFD, short 0.0625% (a sixteenth), on the daily close: the first daily close under 3,989.18 — Tuesday's low, with Monday's low at 3,978.24, the Sunday low at 3,975.65 (the lowest print since July), the old second target at 3,937, the weekly band floor at 3,887 and the weekly 100-average at 3,871 beneath — with the ten-year's daily close back OVER 5.00 the same day, which re-arms the gate: the fast rate input returns to the shock path with two points and the rates-up gold short has its thesis back. Two gates, one close — the mirror of Option 07: the ten-year's side of 5.00 at the close decides which gold structure exists, and only one can. The ten-year has closed at 5.00 to the hundredth twice in four sessions — a hawkish hold is the path to the hundredth above it. First eligible close: Thursday's. ~20% to 3,937 · ~12% to 3,887 · ~8% to flat (3,871). Conditional on both gates printing on one daily close from Thursday; reward-to-risk about 0.5:1 on the first target from 3,985 against the 95-point stop, 1.0:1 on the second, 1.2:1 on the flat.
Why
Unconventional — the second side of a one-gate bracket: the gold short that paid on 22 October is re-armed only when the gate that closed it re-opens, so the trade is taken for its thesis and not its momentum. The odds fall to 20% because the ten-year has stopped at or under 5.00 four days running, because gold rose 1.1% with the dollar up on Tuesday — the liquidation sale looked finished for a second day — and because the trigger is 72 points under the close; it is listed because a hawkish hold is the one event on the calendar that prints the rate half, and because when it does gold will be under 4,000 with no support until 3,937.
Exit regardless
Thursday's close is the first eligible fill · a ten-year daily close back at or under 5.00 closes it · a daily close back over 4,095 closes it · a signed Hormuz date: held — gold is the asset the signature sells · never held with Option 07: one gate, two sides

Market Path

Next 24 hours

The base case is a session inside 29,428–29,875 with a close between 29,517 and 29,785 — the no-lean range, centred on Tuesday's close at one times the wider of the last two true ranges, which is still Monday's 447 (Tuesday's was 446 with the gap); the top of the range sits over the 50-day and inside the fade zone. The S&P maps to 7,684–7,762 with a close of 7,699–7,746; the VIX to 15.8–19.3, the ten-year to 4.88–5.12 and the December Brent settle to 108–119. The reasoning runs in four steps. The board opens flat on the close with the decision at 14:00, so the morning is a two-and-a-half-hour window in which the only question is whether the 50-day stack at 29,807 is tested before the box shuts; it is 143 over the board, inside one bar's reach. The read is retired and the count is over 50, so the framework has no structural view on the day — the tactical lines are a fade of the first stack above and a sell-stop under the day's low, one or the other. The daily stochastics on both indices crossed up from under 20, so the oversold that produced four hundred points in two days is spent as a signal and not yet as a move. And the afternoon is read, not traded: a hold with a hawkish December lean is priced at 83%, and the lines the framework scores on the close — 29,413 and 29,807 on the Nasdaq-100, 7,730 on the S&P, 5.00 on the ten-year, 18.86 on the VIX — decide Thursday's book. The first read is the 10:30 bar. The sequence of the afternoon's moves is not called.

One week

The base case is 29,294–29,979 inside 28,777–30,583 — the inner range's top raised to the chip gap's lid and its floor lowered to the old retirement line — and the week's question is whether Friday's monthly close prints under 30,408.50 with the count over 50 and the index over its 50-day, which is a down month after a record print carrying the bull path's first two conditions, or whether the decision and the three hyperscaler prints hand the index back the re-instatement line at 29,413 with the count under 50, which returns the rollover read with four points and re-licenses its instrument at a quarter. The tests: 29,807, 29,979 and 30,139 on the Nasdaq-100; 7,730 and 7,745 on the S&P, scored not traded; the Nasdaq-100's count against 50 (the licence) and 60 (the binary); the ten-year against 5.00 both ways and 4.94; the VIX against 17.45 with the settle and against 19; the spread against 3.50 on today's print; the December settle against 120 through Friday, then the January contract from Monday; the Nasdaq summation's third rise; the monthly close against 30,408.50 and against 31,117, which is not reachable. If the index holds over 29,413 through Friday with the count over 50, the read stays retired into the midterms and the next moves are the range path's — 7,730 and the third +800 close; if it closes under 29,413 with the count under 50, the read returns. The downside path inside the week runs 29,340, 29,294, 29,109, 29,012, 28,855, 28,777, 28,672, 28,564 and 28,061; for the S&P, 7,677, 7,672, 7,657, 7,640, 7,612, 7,606 and 7,600.5.

One month

October holds a higher high than June on a lower monthly momentum reading, nineteen sessions in, with the gap between the readings at 9.91 — narrowed from 11.62 on Tuesday's rally, as a 2.4% two-day move does to a monthly reading, and said as such — and the running bar 757 points under September's close with three sessions left, 287 over its monthly EMA-5. The one-month central range, 28,564–30,294, held a seventh session, the close 1,087 over its floor. The upside path needs five conditions and one has now printed: the count over 50 (53.47); the others are a signed Hormuz date, two front-month Brent settles under 101 against a settle of 113.88, high-yield over 95 (1.79 away) and the ten-year under 4.90 (ten basis points away). The verdict is the monthly close on Friday: over 31,117 with the monthly RSI over 77.88 invalidates — 1,466 points and 9.91 RSI points away, not reachable; a close under 30,408.50 makes October a down month after a record print, and the bar is 757 under it. From Monday the January Brent settle is the front month and the 120 step moves about $4 further away by arithmetic, not by price.

Six months and year-end

Six months out the central case is a 27,000–31,600 range with downward drift while the monthly divergence resolves; the top of that range is unchanged for a fourteenth issue, and the index sits in its upper-middle after Tuesday, 2,651 over its floor. Nine sessions of the two sides splitting — the chips' way up for two days now, on financing headlines, with the Dow flat and the leaders at no new highs — is rotation inside a range, not a resolution of it; the range path's evidence printed on the count on Tuesday and its weight moved by arithmetic, and it is said so. A ten-year that has stopped at or under 5.00 four days running and a Fed that may be done after today lift the multiple's floor; a $113.88 settle three sessions from expiry, a 96-hour readiness and a post-election window cap it. A Hormuz reopening remains both the largest upside input and the largest sell-the-news for the war-bid assets, gold first; a return to strikes remains the largest downside input, with Washington having asked Israel to wait and the midterms six days away. The AI capex cycle keeps moving from cash flow to the capital markets — Meta's $25 billion of stock five times covered, Anthropic's prospectus, Oracle's chip partnerships — and the tape has bought it for two days; three of the buyers report tonight, and the framework scores the index and logs the financing. To year-end the conditional base case stays 27,500–29,800 for the Nasdaq-100 and 7,100–7,700 for the S&P. The Nasdaq-100 is inside its band by 149; the S&P is 23 over the top of its own. The band is a framework output conditional on the divergence holding, not a forecast; it is withdrawn only if October closes over 31,117 with the monthly RSI over 77.88, and its review trigger — a second consecutive close over 29,800 with the count over 50 — has its count half printed for the first time and its price half 149 points away, the closest the band has been to review since it was written.

The Bottom Line

What repaired: the index, by 378 points through the stop, the gap and the retirement line, with the count over 50 for the first time in thirty-eight sessions, the S&P over its 50-day, the Nasdaq oscillator over +20 and the VIX under 18. What did not: the lines the range path is scored on — the S&P's 20-day by seven, the third +800 close by a wide margin — and the shock path's inputs, none of which moved. The rollover read is retired and its only fill is a claimed loss of about 325 points on an eighth; the matrix is 36 / 30 / 26 / 8 on arithmetic, the shock path modal alone on inherited points, and said so. The tactical lines are 29,807–29,979 and 29,340 for the Nasdaq-100, 17.92 over a 17.45 pullback for the VIX, and the ratio at 3.85 and 3.82, all inside a window that shuts at 13:30; Thursday's book is written on this afternoon's prints. The next decision points are the 10:30 bar, 13:30, 14:00, and the 16:00 close against 29,413, 29,807, 7,730 and 5.00.
