The Nasdaq-100 Sold 786 Points From a First-Hour Print Inside Friday's Gap to Close 27,989.82, Down 1.39% and 50 Over Its 200-Day, With the Count at 46.53 — No Line Printed and the Matrix Holds at 34 / 32 / 26 / 8 — While January Brent Fell 7.6% to $104.77 on US–Iran Diplomacy With Nothing Signed, the VIX Closed 21.15 Into the Midterms and Gold Rose 1.78%

For two sessions the market sorted the AI builders by cash flow; on Monday it kept sorting, and the new filter was who has to raise money. The Nasdaq-100 ran 40 points into Friday's gap in the first hour and then sold to close on its low, 50 points over its 200-day, while the NYSE's members rose and oil lost its war premium on talk of talks. Every weight line was tested and none printed: the matrix holds at 34 / 32 / 26 / 8. The book did better than the matrix — the structural and the VIX doorway both filled and paid. The verdict is unchanged: rollover read intact, structural licensed, every tactical flat before the polls close.

Executive Summary

Framework signal

The framework signals the rollover read intact and the structural licensed while the Nasdaq-100 holds under 28,748 [the fresh daily EMA-5]; a daily close back over it with the count over 50 retires the read.
Called-shot note: the structural's zone printed in the first hour and its rejection paid two targets; the VIX doorway, keyed under the day on both October spikes, filled and paid; the gold long filled by 1.64 points; the Nasdaq-100's close band missed by 68 — owned below.

What Monday Changed

The Nasdaq-100 printed an outside day and closed on its low. It opened at 28,561.17 — 176 over Friday's close and inside Friday's range, so no new gap — and ran to 28,753.39 in the first hour: 40 points into gap #55 and five over the fresh daily EMA-5 at 28,748. Ten of the last eleven half-hours then closed lower, to 27,989.82, down 1.39% and on the low. That is under Friday's low of 28,093 by 103 points and inside the 28-July gap band #19 (27,927–28,039), 50 points over the 200-day at 27,940. The hourly RSI closed 25.79.

The sort kept going, and the filter changed. Friday sold the builders burning cash; Monday sold the suppliers and the ones raising it. Marvell fell 12.9%, Lumentum 18.7%, Astera Labs 11.2% and CoreWeave 9.2%; Oracle fell about 5% on a $20 billion capital raise of bonds and stock; the technology sector was down 2.4% by mid-afternoon. The S&P 500 printed 7,662.23 in the 10:00 bar — 25 points into its gap #56 — and closed 7,541.40 on its low, down 0.51%, under the 100-day a second close and eleven points over the fourth-quarter low.

Oil gave back a war premium in one session. January Brent settled $104.77, down $8.66 or 7.63%, with WTI at $96.46. Iran's president said the Supreme Leader had given the government authority to pursue peace talks; Qatari mediators travelled to Tehran; Iran's foreign ministry said its plan to reopen the Strait of Hormuz had been streamlined from seven days to two — if Washington meets its conditions, which include an end to the naval blockade and relief on oil sanctions; President Trump said a deal could happen and that he wants the talks to play out. The spot chart opened at 106.47, under Friday's low of 112.05: a new gap, #58, logged at 106.65–112.05. Nothing was signed.

The VIX rose all afternoon into the vote, and gold bounced with rates and oil lower. The spot opened at 19.05, printed 18.03 by 10:30 — the top of gap #57 to the cent — and climbed from noon to a close of 21.15, up 8.91% and over its daily band top; the VIX-to-three-month ratio printed 1.008 intraday, the term structure inverted for a second session. Gold rose 1.78% to 3,944.64, back inside its daily band, with the ten-year three basis points lower at 4.91% on the chart and the dollar down 0.15%.

What Monday Did Not Change

The signature. A mandate for talks, a mediator's visit, a conditional plan and a "could happen" are steps toward a document, not one: outright index longs stay struck until a reopening date is signed. Israel's prime minister was reported to have pressed for strikes to resume after the midterms. Oil's fall took January to $104.77 — an eighteenth front-month settle over 101, so R14's third step and its 20% tactical cap stand, 3.77 from the restore line; the 120 step is now 15.23 away. The 109.45 half of the line that takes two points off the shock path printed; its VIX half needs a close under 17.45, and the spot closed 21.15. Half a line is logged, not weighted.

Credit. The high-yield spread series posted Friday's print at 3.44%, eighteen basis points wider — the widest of this leg and 0.06 under the 3.50 line that adds two to the shock path; Monday's print posts on Tuesday. The high-yield ETF closed 92.26 on the weekly render, a thirty-eighth close under 95. The render implies a Friday close of 92.44 against the 92.98 the tracker recorded — a 0.54 discrepancy that is logged, not resolved.

Rates. The ten-year closed 4.91% on the chart and 4.894% on the wire — a third consecutive close at or under 5.00. The upside path lists a ten-year under 4.90 among its five conditions; the chart governs, so it is one basis point short, and the wire's print under it is logged without weight.

Breadth — the members against the weights. The Nasdaq-100's bullish-percent count lost two more members to sell signals and closed 46.53 — under 50 a second close, over the 45 that the rollover path's next line needs. Elsewhere the members rose: the NYSE oscillator +38.59, its summation a thirteenth rise, advancers ahead by 781 (19 short of +800), 67.4% of S&P members over their 50-day, the transports +1.54% and the banks +1.33%. That split keeps the shock path, not the rollover path, modal.

The Four Paths — Reweighted

D · Shock (oil / rates / credit)
34% (34)
C · Structural rollover
32% (32)
B · Range / rotation
26% (26)
A · Bull continuation
8% (8)

No line printed on Monday's close, and the matrix is D 34 / C 32 / B 26 / A 8, unchanged — held, not unread. Every line was tested — the retirement, the rollover's add, the shock path's five inputs, the range path's 20-day — and each missed. The lines are re-keyed to Monday's averages: the retirement to the fresh daily EMA-5 at 28,748, the rollover's add to the fresh 200-day at 27,940, the range line to the fresh 20-day at 7,718.

Path D holds at 34% and stays modal by two. Against it, oil lost 7.6% on diplomacy. For it, the spread is 0.06 from its line and the term structure inverted intraday a second session. D takes two on a VIX close over 22.31 (1.16 away), a January settle at 120, a spread over 3.50, a ten-year close over 5.00 or a NYSE Composite close under 23,459; it gives two to the range path on a VIX close under 17.45 with January under 109.45.

Path C holds at 32%. The close is under Friday's low with the count at 46.53 and the monthly bar under its EMA-5 a second session. Against it: the R3 band — the quarterly EMA-5 at 27,449 to the 200-day at 27,940 — begins 50 points under the close, and the hourly RSI is 25.79. C retires on a close over 28,748 with the count over 50; it takes two from B on a close under 27,940 with the count under 45.

Path B holds at 26%. Its evidence printed again — the NYSE members, the transports, the banks — but its line is the S&P's 20-day at 7,718, 177 points over the close.

Path A holds at 8%. The count fell two more, high-yield is 2.74 under 95, and a conditional plan is not a signed date.

The Honest Ledger

The structural filled in the first hour and paid two targets — claimed at the conservative read. Option 01 needed a post-10:30 print inside 28,713–28,942 and a 30-minute close back under 28,713. The 10:30 bar opened inside the zone at about 28,739 — 26 points over the trigger, outside the image's ±10 resolution — printed the day's high and closed about 28,585: filled at an eighth. A third was taken at 28,385 (+200) on the 13:30 bar and a third at 28,093 (+492) in the last hour; one third is carried and was marked at +595 at the close. Its stop trails to 28,780, over Monday's high. It is the first structural fill of the leg to pay two targets in a session.

The VIX doorway filled and paid — the first time this leg. After a post-10:30 print near 18.05, the first close over 20.15 came at the 14:00 bar, about 20.73 — inside the taper's half-size band. A third was taken at 21.00 (+0.27) and a third flat at 15:30 at about 21.10 (+0.37). The second target, 21.51, was pierced by four cents — inside the image's ±0.05 read; a gain that may not exist is not claimed. The 21.15 close is over 21.00, so a third is carried into the vote and Wednesday's window.

The gold long filled by 1.64 points. Option 07 needed a daily close over 3,943 with the ten-year at or under 5.00. Gold's chart last was 3,944.64 and the 07:33 board 3,946.05, with the ten-year at 4.91: both gates on one close, under the 3,989 cap. A fill that thin is logged as thin; it carries with its stop raised to 3,865.

The sell-stop's close came after the box — not filled. Option 02 needed a holding 30-minute close under 28,093. The 15:00 bar closed about 28,123; the first close under the trigger was the last bar's, at 16:00 — after 15:30, when every tactical is flat by rule. The level was right; the vote-night time box kept it out — a design cost, stated.

The rest did not trigger. Option 03's fade was voided by the 10:00 bar's close over 28,700; the reverse pair's ratio printed under 3.732 only after 13:00 and never closed back over 3.760 (close 3.711); the vol fade needed a close back under 19.12 after the spot cleared 20.15, and the lowest later close was about 20.68; the gold liquidity short's Nasdaq half printed and its gold half went the other way.

Monday's map: four of five. The Nasdaq-100 traded 27,967–28,753 inside the projected 27,730–29,040 — the two-session downside range-miss streak ended; its close band, 28,058–28,712, missed by 68 to the downside, a close-band miss and not a range miss. The S&P, the VIX and the ten-year landed inside theirs. January Brent settled 104.77 under a 108–119 range: a miss, owned — the map did not carry a diplomacy session.

Calls that resolved. "The first read is the 10:30 bar" — it was the day's high and the fill. "Decided at 16:00 against 29,127 and 27,927 with the count" — neither printed. "120 on January" — January fell the other way.

Step 9 — Trade Structures

Leveraged retail sizing. This plan does not prescribe position size in currency. The percentages are book-risk allocations: a "0.25%" structure risks a quarter of a percent of book equity between entry and stop, and a leveraged CFD account at up to 200× can express that with a fraction of margin. The tactical cap is 20%: January Brent has settled over 101 an eighteenth time. With the ten-year under 5.25, tactical shorts are half size — that half is what "0.25% stated" means — and a gap-through fill is half of that again. The VIX at 21.15 sits in the 18–22 band (80% mechanically); R14's cap binds under it. The leg-3 regime is on, so the cover line for a filled tactical short is a 30-minute VIX close over Monday's high, 21.77. The structural runs at an eighth. No S&P structure and no outright index long are issued. Gold is a sixteenth each side. Nothing is entered before the 10:30 bar, and nothing tactical is held past 15:30 on a vote day.

Win probability is the framework's estimate that the first target prints before the stop within one day to one week, conditional on the trigger firing (or on the fill, for the three carried structures); it is not a backtest. It is calibrated to the scenario weights, to each structure type's record in the last thirty days of issues (the structural filled three times in eleven arms and paid two targets on Monday; sell-stops paid on 17 and 30 October; the doorway missed both October spikes and filled and paid on Monday; the vol fade has never filled; the gold bracket paid once) and to the distance from the last price. All eight sit at or under one third — lower-odds, higher-payoff structures with the muted pill. Four are unconventional: the structural's rung re-anchoring (01), the reverse rotation pair (04), the post-vote vol crush (06) and the liquidity-gated gold short (08).

NDX — the structural carried and re-armed: one third open from 28,585 (filled Monday) and an eighth added back on a rejection close under 28,486 (the hourly EMA-14) after a post-10:30 print inside 28,486–28,625 (the hourly EMA-14 to the monthly EMA-5)
Entry
USTECH / NQ CFD. The carried third from Monday's fill (≈28,585 on the 10:30 bar's close, an eighth) stays on. The add-back: short a further eighth on the first 30-minute close from the 10:30 bar back under 28,486 — the hourly EMA-14, with the 30-minute MA20 28,348 and Friday's close 28,385 beneath — after a print inside 28,486–28,625 made from the 10:30 bar: Monday's open 28,561 and the monthly EMA-5 28,625. Gap clause: a cash open inside the zone counts as the print; a cash open over 28,625 stands the add-back down for the morning; a cash open under 28,151 (the 30-minute EMA-5) is not chased. Re-anchoring: the blend moves to ≈28,510. Nothing is read before the 10:30 bar (22:30 SGT open, 23:30 SGT gate).
Stop
28,780 — over Monday's high 28,753 and the fresh daily EMA-5 28,748 (the retirement line), inside gap #55's 28,753–29,257 remnant only by 27: a structural carried over a vote night cannot sit under the session's high; the retirement close at 28,748 retires it before the stop on most paths.
Targets
27,940 · 27,753 · 27,449
Win prob.
~34% to 27,940 · ~22% to 27,753 · ~10% to flat (27,449). Conditional on the add-back's print and rejection close (the carried third needs none); reward-to-risk about 2.1:1 on the first target from the ≈28,510 blend against the 270-point stop, 2.8:1 on the second, 3.9:1 on the flat (the quarterly EMA-5).
Why
Unconventional — rung re-anchoring: the structural filled on Monday's first-hour rally into gap #55 (28,753 — 40 into it) and paid two thirds into the afternoon sale; the add-back sells the next rally into the same stack at a lower lid, the fresh daily EMA-5 having fallen to 28,748. The count is 46.53 and falling (two more sells), October closed under its monthly EMA-5 and Monday closed under it again (28,625). The odds stay under half because the first target is the 200-day (27,940) — the top of the R3 band, the quarterly EMA-5 bounce zone that has held every test since 2020 in the framework's sample — and because the hourly RSI is 25.79: oversold into a binary night.

NDX — the sell-stop through the 200-day: sell a holding 30-minute close under 27,927 (the floor of the 28-Jul gap #19, with the 200-day 27,940 and Monday's low 27,967 over it)
Entry
USTECH / NQ CFD, sell-stop 0.25% stated (tactical shorts at half with the ten-year under 5.25) on the first 30-minute close from the 10:30 bar that holds under 27,927 — the floor of gap #19 (27,927–28,039), with the 200-day 27,940 and Monday's low 27,967 over it — and only after the session has traded at or over 27,990 (Monday's close) if the open is over the trigger. Gap-through rule: a cash open under 27,927 fills at HALF on the first post-10:30 30-minute close that holds under the session's open; a next-bar close back over the open voids it. Exhaustion rule: not armed if the trigger bar closes more than 470 under the session's open (60% of Monday's 786-point true range).
Stop
28,160 — over the 30-minute EMA-5 28,151 and Monday's 15:00 bar close (≈28,123), outside the gap #19 band (27,927–28,039): a break of the 200-day must stay under the session's fast average; a pre-close rule covers half on a 30-minute close back over 28,040 (the gap's top).
Targets
27,753 · 27,732 · 27,449
Win prob.
~28% to 27,753 · ~24% to 27,732 · ~8% to flat (27,449). Conditional on the holding close; reward-to-risk about 0.7:1 on the first target from 27,920 against the 240-point stop, 0.8:1 on the second, 2.0:1 on the flat (the quarterly EMA-5 — the floor of the R3 band).
Why
A daily close under the 200-day with the count under 45 is the line that adds two to the rollover path; the sell-stop is its intraday expression. The odds are 28% because sell-stops in this leg paid under their clauses (17-Oct, 30-Oct) and Monday's sale closed on its low; they are under a third because the trigger sits inside the R3 band's top, the hourly RSI is 25.79 and the 30-minute 26.13, and a vote night is when shorts into support get squeezed.

Entry
USTECH / NQ CFD, short 0.25% stated, only on a 30-minute close back under 28,318 after a print inside 28,318–28,385 made from the 10:30 bar: the 30-minute EMA-14 28,318, the 30-minute MA20 28,348 (the band mid), the hourly MA10 28,337 and Friday's close 28,385. Gap clause: a cash open inside the band counts as the print; a cash open over 28,385 stands this fade down (the day belongs to Option 01's add-back zone). A 30-minute close over 28,486 before the rejection voids the day.
Stop
28,500 — over the hourly EMA-14 28,486, under Monday's open 28,561: the stop sits outside the fast stack; no unfilled gap lies between entry and stop (gap #20's band 28,274–28,440 was traded through Friday and Monday — a used band, not a fresh magnet).
Targets

Why
A bounce from a close on the low usually meets its first lid at the fast intraday averages and the prior close, and Monday's tape sold every 30-minute high after 10:30. The odds are 30% because the band is dense and close; they are under a third because a 26 RSI on the 30-minute chart can run through a 67-point band in one bar, and because a quiet vote day can drift higher into the polls.

Entry
USTECH long 0.25% stated against a US500 short of equal notional (a hedge pair, not the outright index long the protocol strikes). Entry on the first 30-minute close from the 10:30 bar at which the $NDX:$SPX ratio prints back over 3.720 (the 30-minute EMA-5) after the session has printed under 3.700 (the daily band floor; Monday's low 3.710). Gap clause: a ratio open under 3.700 counts as the print; a ratio open over 3.735 (the 30-minute band mid) stands the pair down. Both legs entered and exited together.
Stop

Why
Unconventional — the sort turned around: the ratio has fallen from 3.808 to 3.711 in three sessions (the 30-minute RSI 19.39, the daily 30.03, at the daily band floor 3.70) while the equal-weight tape repaired (SPXA50R 67.40, NYMO +38.59). Friday's version filled and scratched; Monday's never printed its trigger. VIX — the doorway's carried third: one third of Monday's half-size fill (≈20.73 on the 14:00 bar's close) carried into the midterm night and Wednesday's reported strike window, stop raised under the 30-minute stack
Entry
VIX CFD — no new entry. The carry clause printed: Monday's daily close 21.15 is over 21.00 (the top of gap #12), so one third of Monday's doorway fill (half size at ≈20.73 — the first 30-minute close over 20.15 after the post-10:30 pullback to ≈18.05, inside the 20.50–20.83 half-size taper) is carried. Why
The doorway was keyed under the day on both spike days in October and missed; on Monday it was keyed on Friday's open and filled, and paid. The carried third is convexity held into two dated binaries — the vote tonight and a reported strike window from Wednesday — at a sixth of a full structure, not a call on either. The odds are 30% because elections are historically associated with vol falling once results are known; the strike window is the reason it is held at all.

Entry
VIX CFD, short 0.25% on Wednesday 4-Nov from the 10:30 bar: the first 30-minute close back under 20.06 — the 30-minute MA10, with the EMA-14 20.19 over it — after the spot has printed over 21.15 (Monday's close) on Wednesday's open or after 10:30. Gap clause: a cash open over 22.31 stands it down (the D line's day). Armed only after Option 05's carried third is flat. Not armed Tuesday — a short-vol structure is not held into a vote night.

Why
Unconventional — a dated vol crush: a resolved election is historically associated with the spot giving back its pre-vote premium within a session, and Monday's 21.15 carries that premium plus the strike window. The odds are 28% because the window from Wednesday is the very day this fade trades; the time box and the stop over the D line are the price of that.

Why
Friday's 3.67% sale with yields flat was a liquidity sale; Monday's +1.78% with the ten-year 3bp lower and oil −7.6% is the first close back inside the daily band. The fill is thin — 1.64 over the trigger on a vendor last, logged — and is claimed as a fill, not a gain. The odds are 34% because the daily RSI is 36.86 and the weekly band floor (3,820) is under the stop; they are under half because a signed Hormuz date would sell the war bid first, and Monday's diplomacy is the first step toward one.

Why
Unconventional — the second gate written on Friday's lesson: gold sells with tech when tech liquidates, not when rates move. Monday the gate's NDX half printed (27,990 < 28,093) and the gold half went the other way (+1.78%) — the channel was not running. The odds are 20%, the lowest of the set, because both gates must print and Monday's rebound took gold back inside its daily band.

Market Path

Next 24 hours

The base case is a session inside 27,597–28,383 with a close between 27,794 and 28,186 — centred on Monday's close at one times Monday's 786-point true range, the downside-miss streak having ended. The S&P maps to 7,480–7,603 with a close of 7,511–7,572; the VIX to 19.5–23.0, the ten-year to 4.84–4.98 and January Brent to 100–110. The reasoning: a close on the low with the hourly RSI at 25.79 makes the first question whether a vote-day bounce reaches 28,318–28,385 or 28,486–28,625 and fails there, as Monday's did; the evening futures (+0.44% on Apple) put the open near the first band; 27,927–27,940 sits under the close. The first read is the 10:30 bar; the vote count is not a framework input.

One week

The base case is 27,449–28,748 — the R3 band's floor to the retirement line — in a week with a binary every day: the vote tonight with AMD after the bell, a reported strike window from Wednesday with Qualcomm and the refunding, payrolls on Friday. The tests are 28,748 and 27,940 with the count, 7,718 on the S&P, 22.31 on the VIX, 3.50 on the spread, 5.00 on the ten-year — and a signed date, the largest input either way. The downside path inside the week runs 27,940, 27,927, 27,753, 27,732, 27,728, 27,520 and 27,449; for the S&P, 7,528, 7,521, 7,511, 7,368 and 7,313.

One month

November opened under its monthly EMA-5 on both indices — the Nasdaq-100 by 635 points — after an October that closed down 6.65% from a record on a monthly reading 15.30 under June's. The one-month central range re-keys to 27,449–29,547, the running quarterly EMA-5 to the 100-day. None of the upside path's five conditions is met; the closest are the ten-year under 4.90 on the chart (one basis point) and the count back over 50 (3.47). A signed Hormuz date before the December FOMC on 9 December is the condition that would move the most weight in one session.

Six months and year-end

Six months out the central case is a 27,000–31,600 range with downward drift while the monthly divergence resolves — unchanged for an eighteenth issue, with the index 990 over its floor. A reopening priced into equities is the upside tail; a post-midterm strike campaign the downside tail. To year-end the conditional base case stays 27,500–29,800 for the Nasdaq-100 and 7,100–7,700 for the S&P; both sit inside their bands. Monday's S&P, Nasdaq Composite, Dow and VIX closes, the ten-year wire, the ISM manufacturing print and the Oracle and Palantir items are from Yahoo Finance's live coverage; the session's largest movers from 24/7 Wall St (its Dow change conflicts with Yahoo's; Yahoo's is used); the January Brent and WTI settlements and the Pezeshkian, Qatar and Trump items from BigGo Finance; Iran's conditions, the Netanyahu call and the Goldman premium estimate from Euronews; the two-day plan and the weekend mine reports from Mitrade; the circulated draft from OilPrice; the Baghaei and Axios items from BigGo Finance; Apple's results from TipRanks and the margin-outlook reaction from CNBC. Every chart value is from Core_Charts_20261103.pdf, Gen 3, 55 pages, captured 07:16 Singapore Tuesday, with its manifest paired by date — 55 of 55 core charts resolved by manifest label. The live rows are from Live_Prices_20261103.xlsx, run 07:33 Singapore — the legacy spreadsheet shape again — and they are evening-session futures, not closes; its Brent change field is roll-suspect by the run's own warning. Brent and gold chart values are vendor lasts, not settlements. Summation closes reconcile from the prior close plus the oscillator; intraday fills are read from 30-minute images and claimed at the conservative read. Carried values — the sentiment surveys — are not presented as Monday prints, and the Nasdaq-100 highs-lows reading, unchanged to the hundredth, is flagged as possibly unrefreshed.

The Bottom Line

What repaired: the NYSE's members, the transports, the banks — and oil, which lost its war premium on talk of talks. What did not: the Nasdaq-100, which sold 786 points from inside Friday's gap to close on its low, 50 over its 200-day, with the count still falling. No line printed; the matrix holds at 34 / 32 / 26 / 8, and the book paid. The tactical lines are 28,486–28,625 for the add-back, 28,318–28,385 and 27,927 for the tacticals, 3.700 / 3.720 on the ratio and 20.00 under the carried VIX third. The next decision points are the 10:30 bar, the 16:00 close against 28,748 and 27,940 with the count, the vote and Wednesday's window.
